@Hellfire Brother need your inputs.

Nope.

We merely went higher.

The beauty of super high altitude operations (above 18000 feet in this case) is that you simply can not attack all of a sudden, if the defender is alert. The terrain is such that, one can see someone approaching a defensive position kilometers away.

The heights occupied afford excellent opportunity to keep an eye towards Finger 8 too.

As for why AA guns/defence of PLA did not engage, how can they? When own helis were flying within own airspace?

Also, I shall be pretty impressed if an IR SAM is able to target a moving heli in those areas, when the heli is behind a ridge/spur. :D

One thing I am happy about in all this , we, Indian media and Western countries/media are talking about India-Chins rather than India-Pak. Feels good. Hope it it stays this way and ends well for us
and there's more, which ever foreign media house is reporting on this will have to update their graphics package for India Map. earlier they used to leave out PoK & Aksai Hind, now they have to bring back the dotted line to explain the story.

a few of them are still holding onto their old graphics desperately, the longer this drags on, they will have to change their graphics.

Guys what do you make of these maps:-

From the above statements and maps it appears that we don't have black top under our control.

But we have taken rezang and rechin so that explains chinese outburst.

Also has shiv aroor come out with any of his own proof that we have black top under us?

If we somehow get the satellite images from Nathan against which we made the prediction, we might find out.

I am not on twitter, can someone ask him for a few more satellite images?

What will satellite images reveal?

A "track" is not created over night, until and unless thousands of troops have moved on the ridge. That is mountain warfare 101

I can challenge any Tom, Dick, Harry and Nathan on that aspect.

If the analysis is using 'tracks' all the best.

I merely posted one redacted image of mine in twitter, climbing up a 70 degree gradient, starting point at elevation of 11000 ft and topping off after 6 hours of climb up the sheer slope, to reach halfway to destination, at 19000 ft.

No track exists there .... :)

The actual track, a mule track that can be expanded into a motorable track, is not seen and is a long winding track.

That can be seen in the satellite images.

I wont be too surprized if Indian's took the helmet and black top's and denying it. Looking at the 2nd map, it would be pretty hard for Chinese to go on ground offensive based on our positions vs IA going on offensive. Probably why PLA is shitting.

If on a satellite imagery there are two groups of tents close to each other or even one know apart how does an interpreter make out which is Chinese and which is Indian?

It is only the official interpreter who knows about the actions/operations, location of operations, quantum of troops likely number of tents, routes taken and general disposition.
Satellite imagery is only a tool of confirmation of what is known or anticipated. If not then other sources are required to interpret and confirm what it is. If a tent is detected on Tora Bora the interpreter must know and be sure it is not US SOF or Marines or Pakistani SSG.

Traditionally interpreter would say he can make out two groups of tents. That is all. The commander having all information then turns that into intelligence.

On the contrary, the satellite image is an indication that requires confirmation from other sources.

Do not try to be expert interpreters here and predict what your prejudices and dirt gathered in mind make you write. See things objectively. Unless you have means of confirmation do not predict. There are lives involved - precious lives.
Do you understand English?

How many times do I have to keep saying to you that I still believe those heights are in Indian hands?

I'm referring to the stories from Vishnu Som, Nitin Gokhale and Saurav Jha. Couldn't careless about satellite imagery, I've made the same point that tracks mean little considering India undertook a mountaineering assault hence tracks wouldn't show up.

Now, I said IF it's not been taken then the analyses produced by other Lt Gens makes me come to the conclusion it is a f*ck up. IF.

HOWEVER, I have also said, for the fourth time now, that it would make no sense. That ITBP map clearly had Black and Helmat Top BOTH marked out clearly. Why do it unless it's Psy Ops or they actually took it? Makes no sense. All those stories of SFF and trashing monitoring equipment, makes no sense if they didn't take it.
