So yes, the Bison can be a wily and capable threat when paired with other aerial assets, advanced electronic warfare, and a playbook of guileful and downright creative tactics.

This appears to be just how the aircraft was used during the shoot down in late February. According to reports, the Bison was in the air with Mirage 2000, Su-30MKIs, and maybe most important, the Embraer 145 based DRDO Airborne Early Warning and Control System. This aircraft is not only able to get a 'God's eye' view of the battlespace, including spotting low-flying bogeys and detecting and geolocating the enemy's radar and communications emissions, but it can share what it sees via data-link or voice direction with Indian fighters. In other words, those constantly morphing tactics and the unique employment of the Bison would have been only more potent over a decade and a half after Cope India 2004 via the help of the IAF's new advanced airborne early warning and control aircraft.

VENKAT MANGUDI/WIKICOMMONS
IAF DRDO AEW&C aircraft.

So now that we have painted the big picture regarding the Bison, its capabilities, and how India has employed it in the past, it has to be made clear that we have very few hard facts about the engagement that brought the Bison down and supposedly did the same to the F-16.

A very nice read. Please read it fully.

From a neutral perspective, puts down that Mig 21 Bison is capable of shooting down F-16 very well given the circumstances. USAF faced similar tactics of IAF during Cope 2004 that were used in Pakis and that got them out of deep slumber way back in 2004.

More context to the statement please...................
They got all those F16 and A2A missile on the promise that they will fight Talibs, thats altogether different point that Talibs never had Airforce or any planes. These F16s were used with BVR missiles on India in offensive and attack roles, that is against the agreement which Pak had with Uncle. Now lets wait and see if US and its congress will stop supply of parts for these F16s. Also how Pak will deal with Turkey if they try to circumvent spare parts supply.

[URGENT, Please read]
Okay guys there is video made using the tiktot app that apparently shows the downed Paki pilot floating around.
It was posted by this "https://twitter.com/_Xubair_" as a response to a tweet by Zaid Hamid. The response has since been taken down. Link to the response is: "twitter.com/_Xubair_/status/1102980013568258048".
In the video it shows the pilot just siting down on the ground with the parachute still attached to him and he is still wearing the helmet and the reason I think it is not of our WC Abhinandan is because if you see his videos he is wearing a patch on his right arm and the pilot from the above mentioned video does not have that and he also has a collar on his right shoulder showing his rank.
The tweet was taken down before I could download it. If any of you are using tiktok try to find that and in the mean time i'll also try to find that.
Okay, this is the video that I was talking about in the above...

Okay, this is the video that I was talking about in the above...

It's very obvious that this is was some earlier ejection within the Indian territory (over the years there have been several...)

You can hear the guy saying "call 100 number" (emergency number in India). Pakis don't have this as emergency number (they have 999, 997 etc)

Also the clothing and buildings makes it seem like non-Kashmir.

It's starting to make sense now

Ejection seat in F16 has a tricolor pattern. Stupid Pakis thought they saw "Indian flag" and lynched that PAF pilot. Hilarious

Look at this interview. "I had seen the Indian flag on his parachute"

https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-47397418
The bbc article was only about one pilot being captured and that was our guy. No talk of other pilots.

US govt knows what that those F-16 will be used against India. They are not going to do anything about in my opinion. But it will be brought up as bogey anytime they object on military equipment purchase from other countries.

We will continue to dissect one of the so called evidence of F-16 shot down this piece of wreckage:

What you're looking at is the internal structure of a thin aircraft aluminum skin. The bigger vertical structures are called "formers" while the smaller horizontal structures that it pins to the aluminum skin are called "stringers," see illustration below. These skin support structures are either wielded or riveted to the skin and as shown above, given enough stress, will peel off from the skin.

The picture above that is often cited by Indian defense enthusiasts could never come from an F-16 fuselage however since the internal surface of F-16 fuselage is colored dark yellow:

But this part is a perfect fit for a Mig-21 fuselage as shown by the photo of the inner portion of a downed Mig-21:

And if you look closely at a GE F110 -

- you'll readily notice that the exposed rectangular patterns on its rear body is uniform, closely packed together, small in sizes and are clearly part of the surface that it supports. It's either this part is machined or forged as a unitary structure, and is clearly thicker than aircraft skin.

Here's a photo of a GE F110 engine after it figured out in a crash:

Look at how sturdy, solid and heavy that portion of the engine with the rectangular patters appear. In this crash this portion of the engine certainly did not get peeled off like what is being shown in Indian media in support of the claim of F-16 shot down.

Of course it does not help that Pakistan F-16s are not supplied with GE F110 engines.

Can you put your analysis on the drop tanks that were loaded on to the trucks?

from 12th second onwards.

Another photo of a Mig-21bis (like the one exported to India), this one is from the Croatians:

Notice the finless centerline EFT like the above photo of another Mig-21bis. Here's another photo of another Mig-21bis with the same finless EFT:

Those EFTs definitely look like the mangled one being loaded unto that Pakistani Army truck.

That external fuel tank looks like this:

More like this:

Falcon Drop tanks :

Drop tanks of Bison:

There is no tapering at ends of former one.

I'm not competing in control of any jingoist bias but there has already been more than enough evidence of involvement of F-16 given electronic signature and use of AMRAAMs. We have doubts over his crash only.

Compare the size of the one loaded on the truck with the one here. You have people standing in background to make a rough approximation. The one in the video is bigger isn't it?
Also, pointed end seems sharp on MiG and conical in the video.

Here's a perspective of people working under a Mig-21. Notice their sizes relative to the Mig-21s fuselage and imagine the size of the centerline EFT (see photos above of Mig-21bis') if it was there. The crumpled centerline Mig-21 EFT in the tweeter post is a perfect match to Mig-21bis centerline photos above.

Look at the rear of that F-16 drop tank photo you posted, the rear is not pointed (it looks like it's chopped off). The mangled EFT in the Twitter video you posted above on the hand features pointed shapes on both ends. Look closely at your own video:

Here's a stand-alone photo of a similar F-16 drop tank you posted above:

The chopped-off tail end is a dead give away that it is not the same as the one carried unto that Pakistani truck.

I think this is another photo of the EFT from the shot down Indian Mig-21 that was loaded unto the Pakistani Army truck:

Notice the tail end of that EFT.
