They would not believe even if you give them the video of F-16 shot down. Already enough proof is present starting from drop tanks to Aim-120c and two pilot theory of their spokesperson. PAF knows what they are dealing with.

And with lesser money MIg29 had almost all its systems upgraded including engine.

Anyway knowing the Congress, you know there is no mystery. A share of every defense deal that CONgress has undertaken had a compulsory clause called DALALI AMOUNT.

shahbaz haider of 19sqn sherdil seems to be the F 16 pilot that got killed, he also look like a sikh. (locals thrashed one pilot as he looked like sikh and had tricolor parachute)

One thing I will add , if anybody claims that the drop tank in the pic is that of a MiG-21 tell him to get lost.

Mig 21 uses supersonic drop tanks of a unique design note the fins at the rear , in interception and CAP role , supersonic drop tanks are the standard fit for MiG-21 in the above roles.

Don't get too obsessed with US support.

The moment Wing CO Abhi shot down paki F-16 it became clear that US won't back our stand in public about Pakis using F-16 against us.

LM as part of all-powerful American MIC won't let Trump administration publically acknowledge humiliation of all might so sophisticated American technology getting thrashed by a Cold War era fighter jet. There is too much money to lose. Starting with 21 billion USD for F-16/21. They have already lost 2 F-15 in Lybia and Yemen to inferior Soviet/Russian weapons.

In short, both US and Pakistan share a mutual interest in hiding F-16 use and lose. So they will remain on the same page.

Rest assured we are not considering F-16 purchase for sure. And US knows it. They are looking for face-saving. And in return for lack of back bosting form our side, India might just get compensated somewhere else with something else.

If Pakistani lies can stick and many muppets in India can become influenced then anything from our side must stick.
