Already expecting that .. but we got plenty of time for that. Above plan has nothing to do with TejasMK2.
that's the most plausible and sensible thing to do right now.

10-12 years down the line, Kaveri with 55/90 kN . We might be able to pull mid life upgrade on FOC tejas.

Also JV with Safran should not be anything below 120kN. It's supposed to power a 5.5th gen AMCA mk2.
We can derate it for Tejas MK2 , if fuel consumption is beyond a specific threshold.
