What are the possibilities of the very long range SAM being AD-2?From Porky Kicker sir ji:
As of now both are different timelines in DRDO Cinematics Universe; one is AD-1/2 with conventional multiple-stage propulsion where it works pretty much like a satellite launch vehicle and other is Pulse Separation Device (PSD) to make dual/triple/n-ple pulse motors. What are the possibilities of the very long range SAM being AD-2?
That's why I used word optimisticOhh

huh? We are getting 3 more Scorpenes.LCH may be purged later just as Scorpene was purged from the recent Indo-French deal.
DAC literally cleared acquisition of 3 more Scorpene class of subs a few days ago.LCH may be purged later just as Scorpene was purged from the recent Indo-French deal.
Multiverse of madness but in a good way.As of now both are different timelines in DRDO Cinematics Universe; one is AD-1/2 with conventional multiple-stage propulsion where it works pretty much like a satellite launch vehicle and other is Pulse Separation Device (PSD) to make dual/triple/n-ple pulse motors.
Now the question is whether we would see a crossover of both the timelines once both technologies mature or not
We could do it in missile test thread from this year onwards. Our members can regularly update it.if only someone maintained a list of tests that are conducted per year.
Can it shoot targets at 600 Kms?From Porky Kicker sir ji:
21st Mk1A was supposed to come with uttam right that too due to Elta EL/M 2052 being purchased. That's why I used word optimistic
Anyway ig 42nd mk1a will come with uttam as per ddr
Let's see
Even if they give order we have to start delivery atleast after 2-3 years I hope we can supply uttam by then
It's just assumption
We don't have to deliver it before next somwari do we?Ohh
By the way how many Uttam radars have we supplied to Indian Air Force as of now?
Any information on where these are going? 155mm shells are probably the hottest item in the market now due to the Russia Ukr war.View attachment 214733
Export order for 155mm shells by Munitions India Limited (OFB Chanda).
Sorry 41st mk1a basically21st Mk1A was supposed to come with uttam right that too due to Elta EL/M 2052 being purchased.
We don't have to deliver it before next somwari do we?
Since they want to change Ejection seat and Radome there should be no problem to replace it with Uttam if we are given about 2 years
How exactly are you going to get a lock on a target that is 600km away? Can it shoot targets at 600 Kms?
If not then it's meh..
Arre it's a sarcasm on Cheeni missile, seeHow exactly are you going to get a lock on a target that is 600km away?
I don't think an weaponry packages were part of the Tejas Mk1A deal signed back in Feb 2021.Someone do some quick maths on these numbers.
LCA + LCH + ammo + training/maintenance
Edit : Saala hum hi ko karna padega
We ordered 83 Mk-1As for 46,898 crore; that puts per unit price (including everything from training to ammo) at 565 crore.
If we assume Argentina is procuring 15 Mk-1A and x LCH then the cost of just those 15 MK-1A would be 565*15 = 8,475 crore and the quoted price of this deal is 8,675 crore.
Prachand in 200 crores??
There are more chances of us getting the full ToT of the GE-414 from GE than Argentina buying both the Tejas & Prachand from us. To begin with they're indebted to China & deeply so . Selling them the Tejas could be a double edged dagger. Secondly we offered them the Mk-1 which is what their needs were . Where did Mk-1a come into the picture when we don't even have a single proper FA in air or ground . What we have is a prototype. Thirdly the Prachand is WiP. It still has some way to go to attain maturity as a product. Treat all such news with a pinch of salt .I don't think an weaponry packages were part of the Tejas Mk1A deal signed back in Feb 2021.

Also the cost of 15 Limited series production Prachand LCH is pegged at approx Rs.260 crore per helo, once it enters mass production the cost will reduce drastically.
