Guys you all just ignored this statement. AMCA 1st prototype by February 2024.

While talking about HAL's Advance Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA) Project. The HAL Chief stated. "We are also design partners in building prototypes in this project. In another five to six years the product should be available. The exact time frame is starting from February 2024. We are confident we will be able to deliver first aircraft in February 2024."

But AMCA still hasn't got CCS approval. Seem like it could be available before Tejas Mk2.

It will meet the fate of mk-2
Doesn't make sense until no ccs approval has been given
This is what I have learnt in mk-2 fiasco
Moreover I think cmd of any govt psu should not openly speak about timelines until ccs approval not given
Any statement before it is just assumption
Even further it dents their credibility
Coming to amca safely 3 years or atleast 2.5 years from ccs approval
