We need to go full speed on our Kaveri program. Failure is not an option. If we fail, keep trying and plow ahead. So eyes is finally here, next is heart.

This update was given long ago by Sriram ji in twitter and even in ddr articleHot Update
On August 26 this year, the DRDO formally completed the transfer of technology (ToT) to HAL for the production of the ‘Uttam’ AESA-MMR, that will first equip 44 Tejas Mk.1A L-MRCAs on order (the first 39 will use the EL/M-2052 AESA-MMRs supplied by Israel Aerospace Industries). According to HAL, it will take 48 months to develop a scaled-up ‘Uttam’ derivative for the Super Su-30MKI, with flight-tests slated to begin after 24 months of contract signature.
*Contract for 39x EL/M-2052 was inked much before this ToT... (For those who might wonder)
On command the turkroaches calling this a copy of thier drones
3 years ? God how long man, it will take 48 months to develop a scaled-up ‘Uttam’ derivative for the Super Su-30MKI, with flight-tests slated to begin after 24 months of contract signature.

Slowly, with time and investment. You cant ask tech start ups to become manufacturing powerhouses overnight. Then how do we get industrial economy of scale to meet our needs to meet any threat and be able to carry out war operations on a sustained basis?
No weapon is but western propaganda and Russian incompetence has given the company some good pr...anyway a delusional enemy is easier to deal withThey act like the drone is some sort of god weapon

Why blame the turks ?On command the turkroaches calling this a copy of thier drones
I can only guess , but no point in guessing without knowledge of entire systemWhy EO pod is at back end? not front?
Thanks Arihant. nice explanation about the configuration. I still have a query about the coverage area of a battery and regiment. The configuration of a Qrsam regiment .
View attachment 66476
A single regiment will have three batteries. Each battery will have a single BSR , a single BCPV and four combat groups. Each combat group will have a single Bttlefld multi function radar paired with a single missile launch vehihcle.
So a single battery will have-
1. 1 BSR
2. 4 combat groups - 4 missile launch vehicles
4 BMFR which will track and provide fire control inputs plus mid course updates to Qrsam missile.
3. 24 ready to fire Qrsam missiles .
A single Qrsam regiment will have 72 ready to fire Qrsam missiles. A single combat group is by itself autonomous and it can also perform the role of surveillance and acquisition. It's a battlefield multifunction radar. So you can break a single regiment into several combat groups without degrading their potential. The BSR will serve as a long range surveillance plus early warning radar of sorts.
NoiceAkash NG launcher
Thatz the role vlsrsam will serveNoice
But I have one question can it be used in naval ships
I mean in ngd having a defence layer below Barak 8
I mean we can carry many in uvls
