Stop taking these 2rs "Startups" seriously. None of them have the funding or facilities to build even 1% of what they are promising. Only believe when you see it flying. And why does it look like the akinci? Did the turks set up this shell company?
How about you stop shitposting? PARAS aerospace aint small, its one of the big names in Aerospace and drones, heck they have even received PLI benefits.

Its better to stay quiet and let others think you are a dumbfuck then to speak shit and confirm it.

Coming to similarity to Akinci - so by your logic, Tejas and Mirage both look like the F106, no?

What are the chances this actually materialise and take flight. The way I understand it, you need to have backing from someone substantial in terms of funding to move forward in such big projects either govt or private funding.
Materialising the project is not a concern but funding will be an issue and you have to also make sure that there are orders for your system or atleast high chances. Paras as I know is not particularly big. Same with JSR, they have shown phamplets of various guided munitions, yet after so many years we are yet to see of any kind of munition heading forward.
One of the company which I see seems to be doing some good is EEL, there systems have actually been tested.
90% of such projects are via DRDO funding.
But many of these companies have tier I PSUs as their investors, ONGC, BEL, NALCO and the like.

Also, some of the big names have enough funding/revenue to invest in R&D of their own.

4 days back Russia ordered 2400 saheed drones . Previous orders must be large . I see india ordering such sucide drones in the range of 100/200 . It wont last 10/12 days of high intensity war when we have adversary like china . Either we should have reserve or industry must be made capable to deliver in masses if such need arises .

Eh, 100/200 swarming drones are not the same as 2400 loitering kamakaze drones.
The reason we are not going for large orders is because these are Indian drones, every order brings forth modernization, upgradation, capability enhancement, etc etc

If you order 1200 at one go, the start up guys wont be able to produce that many to go with,
their R&D will come to a halt because all manpower will go to manufacturing,
the incremental evolution of their products wont happen either.
Believe me, the MIC here is happy with small batch orders, its win win for all involved.

In the full video, they’ve given this disclaimer (apologies for not mentioning earlier). Why is L&T restricting itself or giving such a disclaimer. I understand the Nuclear Weapons part so as to avoid Sanctions, but the rest I don’t understand.
I think the explosives part needs a ton of licences etc, which they may not have/may not be interested in having since that isnt their area of specialty and its not a high end business unlike their other ventures in defence.

Edit - The three things they mentioned in particular seem to be for good PR internationally, since those types of weapons have been banned by the UN AFAIK. Many countries ( including ours, US, etc) arent signatories but still many countries are and declaring this is probably to show that they conform to their rules.
