Tapas will be inducted but in limited numbers and surveillance roles it has some design limitations which limits its payload carrying capacityHale and male both in development did they give up on tapas?
Then they should do it next year tbh this project has been going on forever with so many hours of flightTapas will be inducted but in limited numbers and surveillance roles it has some design limitations which limits its payload carrying capacity
Stop taking these 2rs "Startups" seriously. None of them have the funding or facilities to build even 1% of what they are promising. Only believe when you see it flying. And why does it look like the akinci? Did the turks set up this shell company?
How about you stop shitposting? PARAS aerospace aint small, its one of the big names in Aerospace and drones, heck they have even received PLI benefits.Stop taking these 2rs "Startups" seriously. 90% of such projects are via DRDO funding. What are the chances this actually materialise and take flight. The way I understand it, you need to have backing from someone substantial in terms of funding to move forward in such big projects either govt or private funding.
Materialising the project is not a concern but funding will be an issue and you have to also make sure that there are orders for your system or atleast high chances. Paras as I know is not particularly big. Same with JSR, they have shown phamplets of various guided munitions, yet after so many years we are yet to see of any kind of munition heading forward.
One of the company which I see seems to be doing some good is EEL, there systems have actually been tested.
AFAIK JSR with BEL are working and progress is thereWhat are the chances this actually materialise and take flight. The way I understand it, you need to have backing from someone substantial in terms of funding to move forward in such big projects either govt or private funding.

Why EO pod is at back end? not front?
Eh, 100/200 swarming drones are not the same as 2400 loitering kamakaze drones.4 days back Russia ordered 2400 saheed drones . Previous orders must be large . I see india ordering such sucide drones in the range of 100/200 . It wont last 10/12 days of high intensity war when we have adversary like china . Either we should have reserve or industry must be made capable to deliver in masses if such need arises .
which systems will this replace in our military?
Does it come under explosives?View attachment 176214
I’m more concerned about this.
In the full video, they’ve given this disclaimer (apologies for not mentioning earlier). Why is L&T restricting itself or giving such a disclaimer. I understand the Nuclear Weapons part so as to avoid Sanctions, but the rest I don’t understand.Does it come under explosives?
I think the explosives part needs a ton of licences etc, which they may not have/may not be interested in having since that isnt their area of specialty and its not a high end business unlike their other ventures in defence. In the full video, they’ve given this disclaimer (apologies for not mentioning earlier). Un banned them why?I think the explosives part needs a ton of licences etc, which they may not have/may not be interested in having since that isnt their area of specialty and its not a high end business unlike their other ventures in defence.
Edit - The three things the mentioned in particular seem to be for good PR internationally, since they have been banned by the UN AFAIK. Many countries ( including ours, US, etc) arent signatories but still many countries are and declaring this is probably to show that they conform to their rules.
Because too much collateral damage. Cluster munitions and landmines are famous for exploding years after wars end, and killing civilians who were just waking around chilling.Un banned them why?
I think he was talking about l&t, no l&t is not banned by UN.Because too much collateral damage. Cluster munitions and landmines are famous for exploding years after wars end, and killing civilians who were just waking around chilling.
Aren't they involved in the building of ssbn which is a part of the delivery system .View attachment 176214
