Ok but can't that be done to akash NGThatz the role vlsrsam will serve
I think vlsrsam has less range that NG

can Akash-NG replace barak-8 at the moment?Ok but can't that be done to akash NG

Actually if we can make a dropfit solution then it can be done ,not as a replacement but side by sidecan Akash-NG replace barak-8 at the moment?
No, Akash NG is inclined launch and Barak-8 vertical launch.
will IN ask for Barak-8 replacement, right now?
probably not, IN has already invested in barak-8 for more than a decade. and their manufacturing lead times span a decade(7-8 years). and design planning 10-15 years for big boats. which means if they want something to be inducted in 2035, they will have to make a decision in 2020.
does DRDO has the capability to develop a vertically launched barak-8 equivalent?
yes, but the user has to ask for it. there are already 1000 barak-8 on order(IA&IN combined)
so what does it mean for defence enthusiasts?
we wait for NGD design to be finalised.
Well according to another guy drdo is making new hale and male drone so which one is this hale or male?
This is most probably MALEWell according to another guy drdo is making new hale and male drone so which one is this hale or male?
Perhaps they want a radar in the nose? It looks big enough for a small one, atleast.I can only guess , but no point in guessing without knowledge of entire system
only the designers can give the perfect and correct answer
Imo position of eo pod will not matter if uav is strictly for air to ground application
Plus it might depend on the space constraints and arrangement of lrus inside the uav so the need to shift it
But nothing can be said with surety
It will work as a standalone system. Launcher and Radar on a single truck.IMO, Akash NG is a Quick Reaction system. It is being developed to fulfill the requirements of IAF for LLQRSAM (Low Level Quick Reaction SAM). It will be used to protect airbases and vulnerable points. It will work along with Spyder SAM.
I think NG will not be used by Army as they have their own requirement which will be fulfilled by QRSAM.
Tapas is male too right? This is most probably MALE

Mumbai: Paras Aerospace Private Limited, a subsidiary of Paras Defence and Space Technologies Limited is participating in the DefExpo 2022, which is to be held in Helipad Exhibition Centre in Gandhinagar, Gujarat from October 18 to October 22. During the event, Paras Aerospace will showcase their advance attack drones that the company designed, developed, and manufactured in India.
Some of the UAVs Paras Aerospace, which has been into defence engineering for the past three decades, will showcase include, high-altitude military-operation drones, logistic-support drones, attack drones, and tracking-and-detection drones. All these UAVs are equipped with AI technology, machinery and algorithms that can solve problems requiring human-like perception, cognition, planning, learning, communication, or physical action and carry out tasks under various unpredictable conditions with little to no human supervision.
Speaking on drones, Pankaj Akula, CEO, Paras Aerospace said, “Drones have proved to provide a strategic advantage on the battlefields today. Right from remote security and surveillance to providing logistics and communications support, drones are playing a crucial role in modernizing the army's capabilities. The drones that we are developing are in line with the government’s policies for making India the drone hub of the world and are designed to meet the harshest of environments to meet the requirements of the Indian military.”
Paras Aerospace’s drones will be in display at Booth No. 14B in Hall No. 9 at the event venue Helipad Exhibition Centre.

is this the same kind of machine like that giga press?
It is a kind of VTOL drone. What minda drone is the red one seems very weird
The red one seems to be actually present at Auli, ITBP base and its FIXAR 007. Paras aerospace has collaborated with FIXAR. Rest are just animations.DefExpo 2022: Paras Aerospace to showcase its cutting-edge attack drones
