Can anyone here have any information regarding our LGBs, Glide bombs and other PGMs? Are they already inducted or it was just a fun project? I don't know why but PGMs are least talked about systems here even though they are one of the most important systems in any war. Never seen Tejas carrying Gaurav, Gautam or HSLD

Chinese New short range SAM based on tactical vehicles. 15 km range with 5000 metre altitude. IIR seeker used. Do we have similar systems? During war these kind of systems will be more used rather than S400 and others. It's really cheaper too to bring down low flying drones, helicopters and pgm bombs and being vehicle based it will be highly mobile to shoot and scoot. During the 27th Feb skirmish, IAF used expensive Spyder missiles to kill puny Paki drones, one hit drones and other hit our own copter.

what do you guys think about space based kill vehicle?? (kv on a satelite)

so much junk ,will hurt our sats too ....best options are DEW on a Satellite, Teeny tiny satellite that can dock with enemy sat and perform a reentry burn, so both of em will burn in upper atmosphere

@XR SAM with NGCCM supposedly in pipeline, the way things are going these days as and when IAF and IA ask for it (SQR), DRDO should be able to deliver a full fledged system within a couple of years after NGCCM finishes it's acceptance trials.

LoL. This system is nothing but a sham. Chinese one is much more proper and compact. Desi MANPADS are coming and we should enlarge them a bit for a few kilometres of more range. In the Himalayas where enemy jets can easily hide behind the hills, a system like S400 or it's expansive ultra long missiles are not a suitable option but a compact system like this or Akash Ng or QR-SAM will be much more suitable. LoL. Nothing. We delayed our ASAT test for political reasons. We are not testing MIRV for the political reasons and to deploy a system like this we need a political clout like that of russia, china or us. And also to develop a system like this we need a something much more powerful than ISRO.

U think that our asat was a blind boy ??

It had seeker and kkv , yeah it isn't miniaturised yet , and there has been no follow on test as it a technology demonstration , we will have proper asat but it won't be a missile like current asat missile , it would be slimmer and most probably silo launched

I am not saying that asat was nothing, but historically we have done things when push comes to the shove.

Idk for what we are waiting for, just we should test it as chinki threat is real. I saw the article given by @FalconZero, It will concern anyone, they(chinks) are able to control the sats in very fast and extremely accurate way.

We have developed technologies for Orbital Kill vehicle , Ground based satellite jammers , DEWs are under development . I posted myself about these technologies . You can find it in this thread . We never know about their existence atleast for few more years , or may be Never
