We need to have a defensive posturing against China and number according to it
Pls read our leaders recent speeches past 2-3 years we have started saying our primary threat as China
Definitely a lot of work need to be done on ground
Self reliance, bigger gdp and gdp per capita, infra need to increase
What I say is China started its aggressiveness(I mean building) when it was 3 trillion dollar economy, so we must also try the same
Pakis were not our primary threat in the past 5 years(from 2017) in the mind of our establishment

China only has about 7 or 8 ships in the Indian Ocean for pirate patrol at any given time.

China does not use the PLAN in the Indian Ocean to protect those trade routes. We leave that up to the US Navy to make sure India or anyone else does not disrupt them

So the PLAN buildup has nothing to do with India. China must build to keep the seas around China safe from white people. India is free to build up as much as it wants at sea. You already have the entire Indian Navy against a handful of Chinese ships (half of them are supply) so have fun and build more!

Possibly. But nobody had wanted to test that out in the past 40 years. Even less likely anyone wants to test out in the future against 60 plus DDGs and CGs with VLS load in the thousands

More likely it is like the Chinese space. China had three failed launches. But there were 56 launches!

Now, India had only one failure but it had just two launches. Are you will to test out that you one successful launch will beat out 53 Chinese ones?

People think that China when it gets 11 or 12 carriers (very good possibilities if you look at the training infrastructure being put in place!) that it will be like the US with carriers all over the world.

Nope, China will put all 12 in the China seas so that the PLAN simply overwhelms anything else in the region. No one will start a war with a half-dozen carrier groups (at any given time) and scores of VLS destroyers and cruisers all mutually supporting one another within range of PLAAF air cover.

The more China builds and concentrates massive firepower on its seas, the less chance of war. China won't dilute this firepower to the Indian Ocean or anywhere else. Because the US and its allies are immensely powerful.

As I said there is no point in argument after 4-5 years we will see whether u are true or I am
But remember the recent visits of chinese foreign minister to particular countries and huge built up in Tibet (like sam sites, missile silos, airbase, etc) along with villages
Like I said no point of talking regarding this for 5 years but development is alarming for us

Space and navy are the same They are national projects to build useful machines in useful numbers

Space is even harder and takes more money than navy so a big and powerful navy is a given if you can master space.

Especially for China since it already has the world's largest shipbuilding industry

Didn't Hong Kong show you they do not need weapons to attack. Just herd a sort of bull, via whips and torture, into a China shop while everyone just watches or takes. Now they say they no longer need him. Billions of puppets will be a darn effective weapon.

Again two impressive images (from late November 2021 ?) and showing the XAC main facility at Xi'an-Yanliang reveal not only two green KJ-600 prototypes but also at least three Y-20B transports powered by WS-20 engines

IMO the most interesting detail however is one of the Y-20Bs, since it appears to feature IFR-pods, which would make it a WS-20 powered Y-20B-based tanker variant (Y-20BU ?).

Additional images showing the airfield of Xi'an-Yanliang airfield (home of XAC plant & the CFTE) taken on 28th November 2021, reveal altogether "23 large transports and tankers of all kind (serial production, proto-types, test-beds, Y20 and IL-76)".

Again more interesting than the number itself is, that several of the shown Y-20s are Y-20U tankers and at least four of them are WS-20 powered Y-20Bs, two of them with IFR-pods fitted. Also, there is the third green KJ-600 prototype (the already painted 01 is missing)

Satellite photos show around 20+ new built Y-20s apparently waiting for delivery in Xian at the end of every year.

The WS-20 should allow even greater mass production of the Y-20, especially the tanker Y-20U version.

40 years of being given EVERYTHING in the world. Allowed to consume MOST things. Allowed to build an entire nation up from the ruin that the Chinese had caused. Rewarded for revolution and killing 40 million people. Germany and Japan have also be so rewarded.

If the ABCANz folks and Euroz infesting Europe want to be rewarded guess they should have a revolution, wage a murderous war, destroy their nations and slaughter tens or hundreds of millions. That seems to be how people and nations get rewarded by the banking cabals in Tyrol and Switzerland.

okay, I didn't know. I look at militarywatchmagazine often. Quoted it before, regarding the Rafale. People here didn't think much of that articles accuracy. Since unsure of the article source, figured your Chinese sources will be more reliable.
Ethiopia kind of needs better equipment. Threats from Egypt, Sudan and now a sort of civil war. Everyone else is arming Egypt.
