60% or 70% share in India, not that important to me, the key is the oppression to local brand with Sumsung and Apple.

Drone shares 70% components with Mobile industry, EV shares around 30% parts; for a nation if it's in the mobile game, won't be hard to participate the competions in Drones and EVs.

For China, those supply chains are even more concentrated, they are all in Shenzhen, Dongguan, Zhongshan, Zhuhai, tiny area from Canton province, the powerhouse will create more exciting companies in the future, like Huawei, DJI, Tencent, BYD, TP-link.

60-70% isn't important to you , yet you spent a couple of posts justifying your statement that China controls 70% or more of the Indian market when its share is clearly coming down .

Perhaps you've forgotten what Indian members posted earlier wherein it was pointed out that China dominated the lower end of the cell phone market where lower prices were the paramount consideration.

As non Chinese rival brands emerge to compete in the same segment Chinese share of this segment will fall.

Drones share 70% with mobile industry & 30% with EV ??? That's indeed news. Perhaps you can elaborate on it .

In the event , India's banned imports in quite a few segments in the commercial drone segment. Capacities in EV are being built up. BYD's 1 billion USD JV offer was rejected by the GoI recently news of which was posted here .

And how's this related to what I've posted unless as with everything else 70% of the beer you produce is exported. If it isn't then beer is good to make your fellow citizens feel contented with what they have. Perhaps CCP in their infinite wisdom must also be subsidizing beer aiding consumption for aforementioned reason. 😉

;) China consumption at home is massively bigger than the rest of the world in pretty much everything.

Perhaps you missed the import of the rest of my post. Not surprising in the least considering you use Baidu translate.

Thumbs up to the Chinese consumer for that, but he better watch out his :daru:consumption in this 'Beer' segment for health reasons. As the desirability of Chinese bear is not that great in rest of the world, this inferior quality beer is obviously meant for internal/domestic consumption increasing the chances of 'brawls and associated law and order issues' in Chinese society apart from affecting the health of course

Italians the world over especially in Europe carry the unsavoury reputation of being ace scamsters who can't be scammed. Congratulations for ALMOST scamming them.

No worry, there are other frameworks to export from China to Italy. OBOR it's too political defined by G7.

Just like with India, there is no OBOR, but still China had 70B surplus each year.

Chinese capital and export companies would turn a broken port into the busiest in few yrs in EU. China already had good arrangement here:

In Greece's largest port of Piraeus, China is the boss

The majority Chinese-owned port of Piraeus recorded a jump of 28 percent in revenues in the first nine months of the year. China's ambassador to Greece has attributed this to close relations between the two countries.

Chinese-owned port of Piraeus returns 28% jump in revenues

Well the party's not going to last forever. So enjoy it while you can. In the pre Wuhan virus Europe this cancellation by Italy would've been unimaginable.

Similarly Chinese share of the Indian mobile market plummeting from 70% to ~55% , India denying BYD permission to invest in India or holding up negotiations with Tesla on the percentage of their Chinese components advising them to follow Apple's outsourcing profile or even Apple choosing to divert part of their production in China to India making this an export hub would've been unimaginable.

Yet here we are. As they say , easy come , easy go. What goes up fast , comes down twice as fast

Beijing floods… looks like the end of Beijing actually. It is massive.

Heard its due to swell of Yongding river which otherwise was always dried up earlier. Is it regular monsoon or what they call as Typhoon that caused this flooding? What ever it may be, Wish and Pray that the calamity will quickly recede and further loss of life is averted.

Actually, China is a top 10 beer exporter and the only Asian one:

Anyways, China has plenty of other stuff to export :D

This is domestic consumption on a grand scale ;)

A lot of things are consumed on a grand scale in China! Beer industry is like China's aircraft industry, it is among the largest in the world but mostly for domestic consumption though China is the world's top exporting nation :)

It was not in top10 in trade value at least in 2020, it became a recent entrant probably the same way it churns out other goods. In this specific case the #1 country export in trade value is 17 X times the trade value of exports from China.
But if a country is exporting some X,Y,Z consumer good and is #1 in terms of quantity but #8 in terms of trade value what does it tell you? For me it speaks volumes about the quality of the said consumer good 😜

China's beer production is falling.

it is down over 12 billion liters a year since 2012.

Truth is the Chinese (and people in other nations too) have become less interested in beer.
