All the thinking and values from Confucianism, Taoism or Buddhism has been put to Nought and younger generation Chinese have been suffering from lack of spirituality. What else can explain phenomenon like Full time Children of China ? India had Bhakti movement, which i take as 3 centuries of R&D in spirituality in Indian history from 7th to 10th century has vastly shaped the Indian thinking and values and we still reap benefits from the spiritual work of our forefathers have spent in those times. Pressure brought by modern times in work culture is there in India too but we have ways to vent out and seek guidance from our spiritual centers like temples or yoga and meditation centers. Materialistic CCP has razed down everything their forefathers built in terms of spirituality. For them it is just a doctrine that may bring the downfall of CCP anytime and hence too risky to keep any traces of it. But human mind works in mysterious ways and i think the phenomenon like "Full-time Children of China" is just mind's response and refusal to fall in line with CCP's brainwashing. I just hope Chinese re-discover what precious heritage they lost and get benefit from it.
