Now only sawtooth trailing edge designs are required on it, and a golden canopy because of Indium Tin Oxide. Can’t find much of a difference between the two!!

The model looked so good in aero india... before they spoiled it all with their crappy camo! Now only sawtooth trailing edge designs are required on it, and a golden canopy because of Indium Tin Oxide.
looked good with camo as well, there are pics without camo a few pages ago on this Particular thread. The model looked so good in aero india... before they spoiled it all with their crappy camo!
i disagree, that camo is horriblelooked good with camo as well, there are pics without camo a few pages ago on this Particular thread.
I don’t care how good or bad it looks with the camo unless and until that camo is helping the aircraft and the pilot in real life by a huge margin.i disagree, that camo is horrible
Tempest look like huge , f 22 type . So britian is prioritizing it's projects after those cut in tank fleet and f 35 numbersJust to pass it on, it looks like a Tempest TD will get the go ahead.
UK states economic case for Tempest ahead of FCAS concept phase
The industrial partners in the Tempest project have stated the financial benefits to the United Kingdom over the next 30 years, ahead of the launch of the concept phase...www.janes.com
With an FCAS demonstrator and a Tempest demonstrator coming from Europe, I imagine that a lot will be revealed about the technologies the Europeans are proposing for the two types. They might give a hint as to what could be in AMCA Mk2.
Quick check on lengths from different sources:Tempest look like huge , f 22 type . So britian is prioritizing it's projects after those cut in tank fleet and f 35 numbers
The reason uk is developing tempest is to protect domestic know how otherwise British aerospace industry will loose it's technical expertise and will be just a tier 2 vendor for us aerospace .Quick check on lengths from different sources:
F-22 ~19m length
Tempest ~19m length
AMCA ~17.2m length
F-35 ~15.4m length
Tempest may turn out to be a different size in the end.
UK has defence reviews every few years. I think the latest one is looking for higher performance hardware but less personnel for RAF.
Going back 15 years or more, F-35 was intended to have operating costs roughly in line with F-16. Not what has happened, as far as I know. That may be one reason why UK decided to investigate developing a 5G+ fighter.
