LCA- 'Noise Reduction System' inside the pilot helmet
The development of the Active Noise Controls or the
ANC system for reducing the noise levels inside the pilot helmet was successfully achieved. This system is based on "Adaptive feed forward ANC technology", which ensures adaptability of the system to LCA-TEJAS broad band noise and does not affect the voice communication signals.
[Reduction in Noice Level in 'OFF' and 'ON' mode can be seen in the graph above]
The first version of the ' Auto Pilot Control Laws ' was flown successfully and the performance was found to be satisfactory.
The control laws of LCA-TEJAS aircraft with new features of integral limit protection and controlled opening of the limiters for Parameter Identification at high angles of attack were developed, tested and flown successfully. The extensive flight data acquired was used for finalization of the Initial Operation Clearance (IOC) control laws.
