India literally is sitting on goldmine. We have the HCQ.

Understand that there has been no coronavirus vaccine for SARS(came in 2002). There are concerns that we may not have an effective vaccine even for Chinese virus. It may work in some. It may not work for everyone.

The only way to get back to usual business is mass consumption of HCQ.

Here you have Trump admitting he himself consumes HCQ and rebutting propaganda conducted by MSM with support of vague studies.


HCQ doesn't help in the last leg in cases where the patient is on ventilator. But specially at the onset of first symptom the HCQ ZPAK combo works wonders and reduces the spread and lowers the mortality rate.

Can any resident doctor on this forum give his opinion on this. That would be really great if we get an opinion that is unbiased.

this become global virus because Wuhan/China hide information and data .
we accept that believing on CCP china words is biggest mistake all countries did.

Agree with your assumptions but trump is hell bend on screwing chinese by hook or crook.. so even if US medicine is costly compared to chinese, i would prefer US one... world have lost trust in china ... chinese have lost tons of it... with their testing kits et all... they cant be trusted with quality manufacturing... like of apple are able to maintain quality because they have strict controls....

Then india ll not be getting any vaccine by middle of next year.. No country ll share vaccine unless it produce enough for its citizen... Only india has mass production capacity.. india is currently providing 70% of world vaccine requirements at a cheap rate . Bad news for poor countries .

Perhaps Yes but looking at other side of coin, chances of it getting licensed produced in india are high... SII have already created infra for oxford medicine which failed and might be able to leverage this for Mass manufacturing.

I am sure patents etc will not be a bottle neck given the humanitarian crisis situation whole world is in....as such, I beleive, we will have the vaccine earlier than your time frame... I am very hopeful of us getting the medicine asap given the relations with trump administration...

How do you know that these Chinese hadn't already produced a vaccine before releasing the virus to screw the world? They are waiting for the virus to take a toll of millions before they declare that they have found a vaccine (which they already have). They will then sell it to the world at exorbitant cost and make a killing. There would be billions of dollars to be made in worldwide sale as well as granting of intellectual property rights to countries to allow them to produce it.

May not be a conspiracy theory after all. This is probably the real deal!

I don't think simply parroting MSM analysis on vaccines brings much value to this forum. Most people in India are already vaccinated for BCG. We don't need any other vaccine. Only western countries need it.

Very true. Nobody is speaking on this issue. In fact Govt needs to come out and clearly state what % of incoming International passengers it screened for corona from 15th January onwards.

This virus is imported and did not originate in India. All the spread is due to carelessness and shoddy measures in stopping it from airports itself.

To.continue on the topic of carelessness is that people have been allowed to move from states like Maharashtra and Gujarat to other states. That will almost certainly blow up big time. Take for example, Karnataka. It’s seen a huge spike in the last few days with 127 cases today (highest ever). The last couple of days are because of returnees from Maharashtra, a complete bus load from Gujarat had tested positive a few days ago. Karnataka atleast is enforcing strict institutional quarantine in spite of pressure to allow home quarantine. These cases are all being caught in the quarantined but one can understand how bad it must be in those states if random people are testing positive. Anyone who believes that Maharashtra and Gujarat haven’t completely lost control and aren’t in a state of community transmission is living in a fools paradise.


Karnataka has now completely banned anyone from Maharashtra, Gujarat and Tamil Nadu from entering the state till the end of the month. All other visitors have mandatory institutional quarantine. A few exceptions have been made for home quarantine for specific people, pregnant women, very young children etc, if they test negative after a few days in institutional quarantine.
