What makes u feel better after purchasing a 80s helicopter's technology & making it cost 50 million a piece. Even the newest Italian a129 chopper costs only 22 millions definitely payings tens of millions to Italians..
It cost more than Apache (D variant), it must better than Apache then..
Already lost 3 of them 2 in combat & still claims one crashed in Kurdistan
(helicopters automatically crash alot in combat zones)

We have had Akash SAM in service for more than a decade now + BMD under deployment. Barak 8 on the other hand is an LR-SAM, a different category.

We have already demonstrated shipborne BMD capability. There's simply no comparison with a middle power like Turkey.

As for Ballistic Missiles, I understand the case of sour grapes. Only 5 nations have the domestic capability of MIRVs & (meaningful) SLBMs. US, Russia, China, France & India.

All of them are a league ahead of a middle power like Turkey. I understand the pain though.

What is akash then ? The fact is we just don't have a rocket propulsion intercetors we have a solid fuel ducted ramjet propulsion intercetors
The same propulsion as meteor uses.. astra mk3 too..
There is dual pulse akash-NG now. Also QRSAM IS THERE
Vlsrsam will be soon inducted.
We are developing s400 class system and even tested its interceptor.

U even took help for artillery rockets.
North Korea has ballistic missile technology because Chinese gave it. Same Koreans gave it to Pakistan I'm not saying it west has been accusing them for quite long time that they did it in exchange of nuclear tech..
Atleast we did not beg someone to help in developing icbms reaching turkey..
And let's be clear we did not had nato level support that u have..

They both belong to different categories. LR-SAM/ MR-SAM vs SR-SAM. Same reason why you tried to acquire an S400 (and got sanctioned)
