T-50-1 has been grounded forever。

Others are being checked for major structural problems,ie cracks in the airframe。

Yet our Indian friends are still dreaming about T-50-4 and T-50-5 on April Fool's Day。

well that news is a very old news in 2010 perhaps & prototypes are built to check it's durabilty & stress taking ability of the plane & aerodynamics
Of course 1st protype had developed cracks but that doesnt nt make a jack sense that all later protypes would develop similiar cracks .
WElll it's april fool's day prank ,but obviously it's fact that PAKFA would have it's new 4th protype revealed to everyone as soon as possible

T-50-1 is now history。

It has been found with major structural defects and has been accordingly permanently grounded。Its parts,in this case the tail, have been "salvaged" for use on its younger brothers。 Hence the 51 tail and 52 head seen on the picture。
Hmm, that makes sense.

WElll it's april fool's day prank ,but obviously it's fact that PAKFA would have it's new 4th protype revealed to everyone as soon as possible
4th and 5th are production models and its minimum one year away from making its first flight.

unfortunately,you won't see them flying in Indian colours before 2020。
If things go as planned it will be 2017 for the first squadron induction in IAF.
