If Trump comes back he migjt agree to sell F-35 but with manh restrictions and checks to which India should not and will not agree. Also such deals are very prone to sanctions.

Even if Trump sell F-35 to India, India would still need Su-57. F-35 is modernized F-16. Su-57 is modernized F-15. Only F-15 / Su-57 is big enough to do air superiority. F-16 / F-35 can only do multirole.

What are you smoking dude the radar of f35 is so capable it's first operational GaN based radar..
Do u even know how capable the EOTS is it's passive tracking are best compared to any other aircraft..
The engine makes 125kn dry it can power very powerfull radar.. it is not that munuevrable.
F35 with Tejas mk2 as a missile carrier will be enough combination to deal our with our enemies..

Price range of F-35 is not feasible. More so, knowing US fickle nature it is not wise to invest in their platforms.

I believe Russia will milk us dry to sell us their AL-51F1. Also it doesn't matter even if it beats F-135. The Engine not gonna make up for its sub par stealth of Airframe.

Russia will milk anybody to sell their corwn jewel but they cannot dry us any more bcoz Russia and India both's status have changed.

Ofcourse Al-51F1 is not better than F135. But i was only talking about the engine, not Pak fa.

The Su-57, Su-70 and Su-75 are all treated with stealth even if we play along that the F-35 is more stealthy than the Su-57 it has overlooked simplistic weakness called, "flight ceiling"

If we have a radar and point it at the F-35

1st place for stealth

2nd place for stealth

3rd place for stealth (left or right side doesnt matter)

4th place for stealth

Last place for stealth

google ball parks the F-35 at 50,000 feet, ballparked the F-22 and 1st stage Su-57 at 65,000 feet and mig-31 at 81,000 feet. The Su-57 will see the front face but also the topside of the F-35 while the F-35 will see the front face of the Su-57 but also the bottom of it as well. I guess the best choice to make now for them is to continue with NGAD.
