Crpf units in ops areas dont use X-95. Don't know why the fuck they imported them. I know it was full corruption. My friend had once told me that jn NE they won't go out with X-95s because it itself would attract enemy to you. In naxal areas they use Aks due to the punching power.
Glocks use OFB 9mms but rarely jams or dont jam at all.
How would the enemy be attracted to them if X95s were used?
I’ve heard in some places they never leave the Kote because of the fear that the Mepro MOR sight will be damaged and they may have to deal with the consequences or action for this.

from what i was told on teligram,
it was 'decided' that majority of X-95s would be shifted/routed to QRT or SF like teams and regular personnel be given Arsenal AKs with rails, either previous vanilla ones with FAB kits or newer M5F41 etc with factory given ones...
and when i asked about it further all i was told that it was decided by the home ministry itself

Hmm they planning on giving sights to them in future i guess, they cant currently due to limited budget and a big size of the force.

Yup, even the MP5s have been related to this role.

You heard that right mate and yes crpf stopped using x95 in anti naxal ops, all of them got transferred to Delhi now used in vip protection duties

What about the QRT Team which was supposed to be raised in Delhi?
I haven't seen any few Insas and arsenal are dominant inside camps atleast.

CRPF in security duty too is using arsenal aks etc. For city ops JVPC could be modified with better stocks and will be a pretty good deal.

As of now our only experience is with "Something better than 5.56x45mm" rounds; like 6.8 SPC, 6.5 Grendel and our own AAR round. But sadly this "Something better than 5.56x45mm" concept has already gone obsolete.

Where as the US 6.8 is "Something better than 7.62x51mm without all the cons of it.
US has SIG's 6.8x51mm, TrueVelocity's rounds, Textron with their CTA, the Russians once had their "Unified Cartridges". And these are the future.

And in the later case, we have zero experience. So developing something like that will take a good amount of time. I don't think our Army is this much patient.

They are pitching Vortex optics, i thought those were on the expensive side of thing

Vortex UH-1 Huey costs about $600, which isn’t really that expensive for a holographic sight. Did you expect them to mount Vector Optics or cheap Holosun ones?😂
The one on the Sniper seems to be an optic from the Austrian manufacturer Kahles.
