Even our 9mm are good they just need a compact lighter one, grip upgrade rails etc.

Don't know much about how it feel on hand but definitely look clean in comparison to tavor etc..

RPK -16 An Ak-12 and RPK derivative is already part of ratnik upgrade.. as lMG.

Our 9mms are worst of the all.. I had fired both Glock and our 9mm(during training so not so much rounds).. Personally i felt its easier to fire brownings than glocks as due to the weight brownings had less vertical jump than glocks. But if you fire 10 rounds from Browning there will be atleast 2 misfires. . Brownings are not a reliable weapon to bring to a firefight.(again solely based on my experience from multiple incidents and multiple ofb 9mm autos)
PS: one reason may be all those pistols were training issued once which may had worn out of firing, but then again the level of cleaning done in training centres is unmatched with any active units. Also the quality of indian made 9mm round and also the build quality of ofb too matters.

You might think so, but its not a bad solution for mounting optics.
Alot of open division competition guns use frame mounted optics.

They are sturdier, especially with metal frame guns. It does not require any modification to the slide and the red dot does not move with every shot fired, it helps with faster target aquisition and less shock to the optic helps it last longer.

One thing I observe with OFB folks there is no concept of miniaturization every product designed looks extremely bulky like their mobile artillery and this gun.

Their 105 mm Gun on the truck chassis is some of the bulkiest design I have seen. The competition from Kalyani have significantly smaller in footprint. As per miniaturization I am saying regarding the optics they used on the Pistols it looks too bulky and also looks like they used it from another higher caliber firearm. I believe Pistols accessories from competitors will smaller than what OFB attached.

They have come up with a solution to mount optics and lasers/lights without any significant change made to the hand gun. It can be retro fitted to all ofb 9mm pistols without massive cost of modification like milling the slides and changing the frames.

Nag has a 150mm diameter warhead with a total weight of approx 5.5kg.
The total penetrating is +900mm RHA after ERA.

MBDA's MMP offers a penetration of +1000mm RHA after ERA; but with a warhead of 140mm and lighter warhead.

What you are referring to here is the overall body work and the packing of the stuff OFB does.
They over do the packing always and in most hideous ways.

True, this may work for the civil market as a cheap solution, but for the military the proper way is the way to go IMO.
