These pics are very old not new.We are locally manufacturing SVDs under license which is far more better in comparison between SLR in terms of range and accuracy. But SLRs if converted into DMRs could come handy to the paramilitaries like CRPF,assam rifles and IRB who are in frontline in tackling extremism.
These pics may be old, But it use in good amount in RR and other low intensity conflict zones in India..

SVD is a excellent MR, But its not use in every ops, The ammo is always short..

Just curious: Isn't the cartridge for Dragunov and PK interchangeable?

kunal you had told that galil's sight is not in middle, its sideways.then how can a shooter take a aimed shot through a sight which is placed side ways ?because his line of view(which is through the side of barrel) and bullets tragectory would be same?is the shooter need to take some adjustments while taking an aimed shot?pls clarify

Russian arms manufacturers aren't very keen on exporting boat tailed match grade ammo 7N1/7N14, for which the PSO-1 scope is optimized to as they themselves dont have enough of it, So other option are in use which is to use PKM ammo, But It depends which units are using PKM also PK ammo is precious as it is not so widely used as bren or FN-MAG..

So, Many Units like to carry Fn-fal for long range shooting..

The scope is the key itself, The scope`s Graticule Pattern have to do with this..

I dont have more info on this..

Is the FINSAS practically feasible. I understand multi-caliber will be good on paper, how usefull will it be practrically ?
