ACR has been discontinued long ago due to unknown reasons despite being an instant hit in civilian market in the United States. Same with SiG-516.

Best idea is making copies of SCARs in OFB. Or create an indigenous AR-15 rifle.

Sig-516's popularity was overshadowed with the MCX M13 and later the MCX Rattler and Virtus. And it was pretty expensive (around $1600). People would rather buy the cheap M400 Tread or superior MCX.

The Nightforce ATACR 1-8x, Vortex Razor Gen III and SIG TANGO6 1-6x are better options IMO. The first two would be the best.


Their 1x magnification configuration is quite close to that of a proper red dot. Extremely important for CQB.

Sig TANGO6 is going to be the optic on US Army SDMR and eventually even M4s.



This (9HR) channel is the best gun channel out there btw. It doesn't get better than Jack and Henry.

Again, SCAR copy with same problems. BREN II is an ACR copy to be fair. And still, why consider that platform when superior piston driven AR-15 (CAR-816) is available?

Nope, that was the old trend. SOCOM started replacing their few holos with magnifiers with ATACRs. They're just much more versatile. US Army ordered tens of thousands of TANGO6s from Sig.

66 thousand and odd. It is also SOCOM's S-VPS, Squad variable power scope. Means standard issue scope, basically.

I know that Reflex sights are made for CQB and nost engagements happen in CQB hence I feel an ACOG with an Offset sight will be better.

Canted sights... They're an ok choice, have been used in the past, but just add weight... LPVO provides both more magnification than ACIG should need be and more versatility. Thats why they're being replaced by LPVOs in the first place.

Bro when we are talking about rate of fire its definitely an understatement!!!! I have never seen an assault rifle with a rate of fire of a let's say a PDW!!!!! Its unreal, even some bullpups are no match.

But why tho? 600-700 standard rate should be good enough.. It just makes the gun hard to control..

More than enough for assaulting a moving target in an open field, but not in CQB offcouse.
Another thing is that IWI has a basic Ar15 platform called iwi zion for civilian market . These guys have everything do they??
