Tarbela air base has many residential buildings and even a village in periphery. It's almost impossible that baba bombed it while no Abdul noticed, be it in day or night. Leave that aside, Paki F 16s are also at operational readiness. Us bombing them while Paki not even able to vector their planes towards Indian formation means either we have stealth bomber like B2 or Pakis are so lethargic that they couldn't see IAF planes, specially Su 30s which can lit up whole dark room with radar signature marker on screen.

In normal situation your statement is true. But the collusion of China with Pakistan has changed the situation. Pakistan hopes that any equipment deficiencies will be made up by China.

My info says that Pakistan lost one F-16 and two JF-17 since Balakote. If Tarbela news is true (4 F-16 destroyed on ground) then the count goes up.

India does have means to carry out this kind of strike by standoff weapons.
