Is it now. Coz I used to think Paks do ceasefire violations, sniper attacks and infiltrate terrorists. Nothing more than that. While Indian army in Nov 2016 sent teams of para commandos across LoC silently and they destroyed multiple terror camps there. Did not know both meant same thing.
There are many differences in Indian modus operandi and theirs.

Ind surgical strike.
1. only against the yahoos
2. not deep insertion
3. men in uniforms do
4. they return mostly
5. low level targets.
6. high level clearance required

Paki strike:
1. against pre designated target civil and military
2. deep penetration 25-100km
3. uniform men + yahoos in casuals
4. some may escape 98% dont return
5. high and low both
6. local HQ decides

Both countries decide on the basis of availability of men and resources, the diplomatic stature and agenda.

Four Pak Army Soldiers killed by #BalochLiberation Army in Quetta, Balochistan

At least Four Pak Army soldiers were killed while patrolling in their vehicle, as BLA armed men opened fire near Quetta’s Sariab road.

Just look at those Headshots...BLA does operate Dragunovs Sniper rifles as well as AK47s with UBGLs as well as with Sights mounted

Dont spread misinformation. This attack is claimed by TTP

Lt General D Anbu: ‘More youths taking up arms, matter of concern’

Written by Arun Sharma | Udhampur | Published: February 15, 2018 2:21 am

He attributed the increase in local youths joining militant ranks to post-Burhan Wani euphoria on social media. Emphasising the need for sustained counter-insurgency operations in Jammu and Kashmir, Northern Army Commander Lt General D Anbu on Wednesday said that an increasing number of local youths taking up arms despite elimination of a large number of militants in 2017 has been a matter of concern.

Speaking to the media after the investiture ceremony of the Northern Command here, he said there was need to stop infiltration from across the border, eliminate militants operating in the hinterland and arrest the capability to induce locals, which has been the trend in the last couple of years. “If you address all three, you will attain success,” he said. “So in this particular last year, 2017, we focused on the leadership of terrorists and you all know that we were able to eliminate a large number of them, and then of course, the terrorists we eliminated,” he said, referring to the killing of a record 200-plus militants.

“But to our fear and concern, the local terrorists taking up arms continue to increase and you know there are a large number of reasons for that, whether it is social, economic, political, religious…,” the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Northern Command said.

He said that people taking up arms are in “the age group of 20, 30 and less”, and that to arrest the trend, “one major factor we need to do is if you are able to address a terrorist, you eliminate the terrorist, And you ensure the overground workers are also equally targeted.”

He attributed the increase in local youths joining militant ranks to post-Burhan Wani euphoria on social media, and stressed measures to engage youths in the state to arrest the trend. Pointing out that Hizbul Mujahideen, Lashkar-e-Toiba and Jaish-e-Mohammad are all hand in glove with each other, he advocated sustained counter-insurgency operations.

We should do a China / Singapore on this. The control of any muslim gathering (like mosque etc) should be led by people who are in government. Control the narrative of what is discussed in those meetings and weed out the trouble mongers.

Its incredible how our soldiers fought bare hands with the terrorists saving their families.

All the casualties are of soldiers who were with their family and not armed.

No casualty of any soldier who was involved in flushing them out.

Main objective of killing soldier families like Kaluchak averted.

Overall,i would not call it a failure.

Obviously would have and could have been done but it doesnt always work like that.
The biggest failure of the JeM and their Paki sponsors was the killing of Kashmiri Muslims from the Valley in the Sunjhiwan fidayeen attack. Thousands attended their funerals in the Valley which have turned local sentiments against them. They've shot themselves in the foot on this one.

I sometimes get the feeling that SG, or PARA SF operatives are out there in Balochistan as "advisors" for the BLF.
Because the kind of precision attacks which the BLF is undertaking is very unlikely for a rag-tag militia force.

Exactly bro...no rag tag force can shoot flying stones unless they are well trained to fire a AK47 or a sniper...They even have IGLA S Manpads ..wonder where they get those...they even operate some light mortar & soviet old short bore Howitzers including RPG9s...They are hitting head shots ..if u watch the pics posted now a days..max r headshots

Muslims don't really mind. They are obsessed with identity politics. They will always favour fellow Muslims in pak over hindu india. Even hurriyat guy's father was killed by pak. But he is still pro pak and anti india. Logic doesn't apply to these animals.
