This issue has been done to death - Cold Start was a response for this till Pak brought in tactical low yield nukes. The only way you can solve this is either go to war or give in to the enemy.

Pakistan has calculated it well. It keeps the heat, drops in a few terror attacks a year with a big one once every few years while still keeping it just below the level where India would go to war. They got away with 2001 and 2008. What do you expect from them ?

That was a cross border raid, good for morale but not getting a lasting impact. Crossing the border proper would be to go in and PUSH the LOC back a few kms slapping Pakis around in the process. Break their morale and also secure some points which allow easy infiltration.

I don't understand how this would make infiltration easy?? Should be followed by concrete steps like throwing out article 370 and indus water treaty.

There are a lot of point on the LOC where its easy for the Pakis to facilitate infiltration due to area geography. Or places where they have commanding positions and Indian army cannot effectively take on them. Removing these points reduces infiltration.

Cold start has not been implemented. No one knows the details until it is used.

Good point - Technology is making sneaking quite difficult for Pakis. But still it doesnt solve the problem of daily shooting. If they know that pressing India's buttons will result in a huge backlash they will be forced to rethink their tactics.

They don't have nuclear miniturization capability the whole thing is a bluff.
