Which of the Guidance and control systems or propulsion don't talk about those 404 engines. That is not a tech its finished goods and we paid for that. We are discussing the critical techs not the raw components. From the DRDO's AIP system and Indigenous ew and Weapon Systems for Lca Tejas all is indigenous. So is the Indigenous radome for Tejas.

Infact we are making our own Indigenous nosecone for Amca, Lca Mk1 Mk2 , Tedbf and other missiles which were earlier License manufactured viz Hal .



As for as the techs is concerned nobody shares it there is a diference between paying for finished components and developing indigenous techs for the same.

Technology is not something you can build with no prior trial and error learning experience.

If you think India build all the techs you mentioned(UTTAM AESA,Radome,EW Suite etc etc) with no collaborative inputs and from scratch,then you are living in a fools paradise.

Many of the India's indigenous programs had foreign consultants for either design or subsystems like MBB for DHRUV,Dassault,Lockheed Martin and EADS for LCA,Krauss-Maffei for Arjun MBT.

Also many Indian equipments are improved versions of foreign equipment like HAL Ajeets of the 80's and Dhanush howitzer which was derived from Bofors.Aditya MPV from Casspir etc etc.

Again i would like to stress on the fact that just making it in India should be the goal,the goal should be to make equipments that are the top of their league,otherwise even primitive economy like Pakistan can assemble tanks and jets.And this is the reason why foreign collaboration is important.
