Officially, Russian Armed Forces are 1 million strong and few months ago, Putin signed a decree to increase it by another 150 000 - but it will come into effect only from 01.01.2023, so they are quesses that they will just mostly recategorize LDPR army + its mobiks

Russia military was supposed to be slightly short of 850K, say 800K



around 70% contract and 30% conscription. Hence regular only 560K



Paramilitaries around 600K to 800K



LPR & DPR around 50 to 75K



short term contract soldiers 25K to 50K



Wagner 25K to 50K

Had posted this earlier also, Russian actual ground forces (Army + VDV + Navy Marines + special forces) is probably around or even less than 400k. Of which 1/4 to 1/3 are conscripts.
"1 million ka Army" was BS from the beginning, just that most people did not bother finding out the reality (which is published in the open anyways).
