1800 rounds is not a lot of ammo. One AK mag contains 30 rounds so that is 60 mags and if they are arming one person with 5 mags, then they'll only be able to arm 12 people.

It may not be for an insurgency group but for these militias, say each gets 15 rounds well enough to arm some 100+ and that is enough to create a huge problem.

It is just cluster fuck you don't know what is the actual things, and it is very hard to fact checks it as the topography and people feature look very similar to Myanmar and with vested interested it can be share for virality than actual event.
