A distinction needs to be made between Christians and Church.

I know plenty of patriotic Christians myself who'll die for the country. I also know that the Indian Church doesn't give a fuck about India and it'll gladly help CIA or any other entity to cause chaos in India.

Remember the "Palghar" incident where 2 Hindu Sadhus were lynched to death? The local Church provided legal help to the lynchers.

I'm from the South btw i.e Andhra. Don't play the regional victim card here.
you have made your points. get back to security aspect if any.

I used to think state control over information flow is what we need, no longer think so.

will have to rethink some of my old assumptions.
But whatever those assumptions are, state control over information flow is a essential part of maintaining internal peace and dealing with external threat.

But the same church bends over backwards to please the Chinese. The Chinese have surely found the right way to deal with Whites, church, insurgents, etc.
Humans irrespective of religion are very simple beings. They understand and respect strength only.

If the opposing party doesn't hesitate to hurt you, they'll respect you even if they hate you.

Can India do this?

Anyway what is the moral and right course of action moving forward?
Workers who were killed need to be compensated to the fullest but what about the ones who attacked the camp?

If you don't go after the Church, the insurgency will continue for another 100 years.

It's not a complex issue.

Indians have a way of complicating things to hide their own cowardice.
In the modern world u can't genocide people like the Turks did with Armenians those days are gone.
Issue will continue to fester In some shape of form but there is a scope to make it better.

I wasn't advocating genocide LOL

Going after the Church means, deal with them with an iron fist. Keep an eye on their financials, their missionary activity etc

Churches get a lot of foreign funding. Some of it is used to finance militants.

Since there was no human loss in those attacks on army camp, maybe it's better that government let it slide, they will let is slide because politicians have already sharted their pants, can't blame them they have to win seats, democracy blah blah.

I just hope it doesn't let us in making some serious comprises related to security while ensuring that whatever intel related issues were should be sorted. I don't want any armed member to be convicted, doesn't seem like it was problem from their side, you give them target they execute. Who gave them target? Maybe intel guys whoever they were we will not know probably so internally it will be handled.

For now, to cool down, compensation should be announced and maybe do some jumlebaazi bout justice blah blah. Also, maybe mokoman's idea is not bad at all, let opposition tame the anger (I don't trust mumtaj but maybe for once they can be of some service to the country through their nonsense).

No but he is right. Taxi drivers call them freedom fighters. Mizoram and Nagaland still have high levels of insurgency sadly. Other NE states have more or less calmed down due to various deals struck between local tribal clans and government. Mizoram is especially a hot mess, these guys break alliances all the time with government entities and amongst themselves too and keep on fighting. They don't care about country or even state, they only care about their tribes.

This has been true since well forever.
you confused manipur for mizoram . mizoram is perhaps the most peaceful state in the north east with regards to insurgency .

Don't lie about 13 civilians!

It was 6 who died in the hands of SF while another 7 were killed when the mob tried to lynch the security forces.
