What are the anti-missile (both ballistic and non-ballistic tragedy) capabilities of HQ_9 or HQ-16?

The latest export version of HQ-9 is claimed to have the capability to intercept ballistic under 1000km. It is highly unlikely to use HQ-9 to intercept low value cruise missile except radar support.
HQ-16 with maxi speed of Mach 3, is not suitable for ballistic missile defense role.

Someone suggested that Pakistan has HQ-9, so she has a missile defense system. That is an underestimation of difficulty of missile defense. The air-defense system (no matter HQ, SM or S-300) is only a part of the missile defense system.

HQ 9 can't even hold a candle to PATRIOT missile system let alone India's BMD program.

Han delusion of grandeur.

Well, at least there are some countries bought HQ9.
Further, in 2013, HQ9 won the Turkey's contract when Patriot was another bidder. Clearly, in Turkey's eyes, HQ9 /FD2000 had effectiveness/cost edge over Patriot even though they cancel the deal due to dispute of tech transfer.

And the serviceability of the HQ9 and its difference from S300 PMU2 ? Its literally a S300 PMU2 like J15 is literally a Su33. BMD phase 1 is already deploying in India.
Pakistani HQ9s are still not servicable. Their Uavs developed rear pump failure and are still down.
Jordans CH4s were on sale soon after purchase.
BMD dosen't even have an export license in India.
