This thread is almost as dead since we heard only notam but when the news of nirbhay testing was circulating around somebody cropped up n brave enough to debunk the news of success. Now the failure of extended bramos still nobody is brave enough to circulate, now my inference is that everybody is busy arround other defence procurement since missile development in India is self sufficient. So no place for kickass or dalals or paid media. That means that dfi is infested with those bastards or trolls. No offence to those it hurts.

Why not? Its international waters and the splash zone is not over any country's territorial waters or landmass.

Test is from Kalam Island , Odisha .... So it is definitely a land based BM.

SLBM test from pontoons are conducted from Vizag .

Before putting an untested missile on a Ship , they will first test the missile from land for safety .
