M1A2 special armour being tested in Sweden against modern threats during the mid-1990s. Even current Indian ammunition is below that used by the Swedish FMV, even worse is the stuff used in the 1980s test of Kanchan.

if a guy finds other fool, it
means he think himself
clever but actually both are
clever and both are fools , the
result lies on perspective
Sorry, I am not a poet, so I don't give a shit about your poetic babble talk.

now its no new that iraq have miserable army. And exceptionally well tanks were so miserable that it took 8 years to defeat iraq.
I think you are confused boy.

In 1991 USA defeated Iraqi army in 100 hours, in 2003 it took US Army 3 months to completely conquer Iraq and defeat Iraqi army. However these were regular wars, after 2003 OIF regular war phase, there was stabilization and assymetric war phase with terrorists and insurgents, it is different kind of war, and tanks performance have nothing to do with it.

actually those who talks without reference is a fool.
You speek about yourself? :)

Good to know that you are at least that humble to admit who you are.

And seriously, do not even consider to try fighting with me in discussion, I will eat on breakfest boy.

Don't you know politics? Aren't america too depressed and why it getting close to india? Cause russia and china. And if russia and china and india united then america will be more miserable
Actually USA defeated it's economic crisis. What is more important, Russia, China and India have nothing to counter US economy. Look at this, USA have one of the largest reserves of oil and gas, you know what happens when they release these reserves on free market? Countries with their economy based on oil and gas crumbles because prices go down and their income go down. So literally USA have Russia's, Saudi Arabia and so on balls in their hand.

China is also slowing down their economy because manufacturer costs rises in China, also due to ineffective investitions, China have probably larger hidden debt than the whole USA debt. When Chinese products will be less and less attractive and when manufacturing will go out China, Chinese economy will have problems. Why? Because only companies that will stay they will be Chinese state manufacturers not private ones, and state manufacturing is less effective than private.

Sorry boy you know nothing about geopolitics and economy.

Yes, official documentation from FMV and knowledge about the poor ammunition used by the Indian army (with 3BM-42 which was first introduced in 1985 by the Soviets being your most advanced tank round).
no links to prove your point...

What the hell you are talking about? What test of America?

Methos was talking about about tank trails in Sweden performed by the FMV. Tanks participating in these tests were French Leclerc, German Leopard 2 and American M1A2 (with downgraded export armor package).

Are you even capable to read and write in english at decent level?

no I can't read properly , but instead of finding mistakes , a link will be much better for reference ( without reference test by sweden more hollow than my reading problem , though I made that mistake deliberately)

Read the official FMV report on the Swedish tank acquistion during the mid-1990s. If people are too lazy to use google, it is their problem and not mine.

I gave one link to article about Swedish tank trails, however link is dead for some reason. This is the one: www.ointres.se/projekt_stridsvagn_ny.htm
@methos on the other hand probably will post a link to FMV documents, but give him some time, searching such documents is not easy.

That is cruel !! you are arguing and putting forward your POV and asking others to search and visit some site to get your POV ??

This is not cruel, this is practical. We Europeans believe that if someone want knowledge, he can search it on his own, if someone is not willing or capable to do so... is preaty much useless.

Besides this here, FMV site, you can searh it.

"Details of the M1 losses were given,
including one where 25mm armour-
piercing depleted uranium (AP-DU)
rounds from an unidentified weapon
disabled a US tank near Najaf after
penetrating the engine compartment
(which revealed later to be a friendly
fire from an M242 Bushmaster auto
cannon 25mm used mainly on LAV or
Bradleys). Another Abrams was
disabled near Karbala after a rocket-
propelled grenade (RPG) penetrated
the rear engine compartment and one
was lost in Baghdad after its external
auxiliary power unit was set on fire by
medium-calibre fire

Between the 03.05.03 and the 04.03.03
(so in almost a month), 8 M1A1
Abrams were lost in Iraq (4 lost in
combat, 1 abandonned in hostile zone,
2 "felt" into the Euphrates and 1 by
friendly fire).
And I've read (so not sure) that USA
lost about 1/4th of the M1A2 deployed
in Iraq.

Again bad way to put forward ones arguments !! too much bias against non Europeans...

So you want me to translate and read the pdf ??

And? M1 like any other modern MBT including Arjun have relatively thin rear armor, it's thickness is around 40mm made from homogeneus steel armor plate. M919 25mm APFSDS can penetrate 100mm of RHA.

RPG will also penetrate rear armor without a problem of any existing tank.

You read wrong.

In period between 2003 and 2010 in Iraq USA lost 20 tanks (due to enemy fire, IED's, friendly fire etc.) and 80 was damaged.

Tanks that felt in to river were later recovered when combat operations ended.

Again bad way to put forward ones arguments !! too much bias against non Europeans...
It is not bias, it is logic, of someone is incapable to pursue knowledge, he does not deserves to be handed one for free.

So you want me to translate and read the pdf ??
Search informations you are seeking and translate it.

I needed to learn english and russian on my own, I also understand but very weakly some ukrainian, french and german, I also learned latin for about a year. I do not have problems to spend some of my time to learn things.

.
is it the tank you are talking about
And what this video have to do with topic?

This is American M1A1 in mud, as we can see driver was capable to drive out of mud pit.

You think that Arjun would not stuck in a mud pit? Oh it would, as any other tank. I seen lighter tanks like T-90 that stuck in mud pit, this is something very normal.
