We're not an ideological state like you or your Iron Brother (come on it's just us here, so we can call them their real title - Slave Boy) Porkistan. If the ideology lives, the state lives. If the ideology dies, the state collapses. In your case, it might be a good thing, since China (like us) used to be a civilizational state, not an ideological state. (There is however no hope for Porkistan because it's based only on hatred).
We don't care about petty revenges, unlike you, who have to keep brainwashing your people about Nanjing and "100 years of humiliation" (even though Mao killed more Chinese people than Japan, the West and everyone else put together).
Most young Indians don't even know about the year of the 1962 war - they vaguely remember something long ago that was something not pleasant. Moreover, most Indians would probably accept that what Nehru did was a blunder, since he was an imbecile and a deeply stupid, spineless man.
But don't think for a second that today's India is the India of that time. What we're experiencing today is indeed unprovoked Chinese aggression - not just us, but also ASEAN, Japan, Central Asia, South Asia. Today's India will never accept Chinese hegemony.
Modi can and will escalate to any extent to rebuff your aggression, and the entire nation is behind him, out of choice. It is a feeling you will never understand.
