Time to open relations with Taiwan
As many have pointed out and have I, Taiwan is a red herring. The chicoms already own Taiwan without having fired a shot. There are a million chicoms in Taiwan. Taiwanese companies have hundreds of billions of dollars invested in PRC which they will not risk. There are many chicom spies in Taiwan and any high tech transfer to Taiwan will make it to PRC.

The key is Tibet where (1) chicom military assets and missiles can and do threaten India and (2) reckless chicom dam building are an existential threat to Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand etc. When the world let china take Tibet as a protectorate it was understood that the Chinese would strive to preserve and enhance their unique culture and environment. They have done the converse.

The world must ensure via all means possible (sanctions, force etc) that the chicoms withdraw military assets from Tibet and also withdraw the heavy military presence that is brutalizing a helpless people.

I was thinking about how to tackle Chinese menace. Here are a few points:-
1. Let's give formal recognition to Taiwan. Let Taiwan open their embassy in New Delhi. If China doesn't lower their war rhetoric in SCS, we should consult with all the countries involved plus European union and discard one China policy. If China cannot honor other countries sensitive concerns, none of the nations need to honor Chinese concerns.
2. Treat Tibet as Chinese invasion. Work with international community towards freedom of Tibet.
3. Work with Russia and Mongolia and appraise them of Chinese hegemony and land grabbing attitude. Raise concerns of Mongolia as well in the international community.
4. Form a military alliance of all Chinese neighbors plus Japan, Australia and U.S.

No I don't hate him. I like his simplicity but when troops spend hours shining their Boots and prepare their dress and shining their stars before parade or guard of honor they expect the dignitary should also be appropriately dressed and not in Sandals.
Its his policies and what he did for defence that matters more than his clothes. He did quiet a good job on that front.

Now China Brings in Ladakh Into The Equation!

To add yet another dimension to the face-off by bringing in the Ladakh region and linking it to Pakistan, China’s “iron brother” ally.

“India should not regard the existing situation as the same as or even similar to the previous two standoffs in 2013 and 2014 near Ladakh, a disputed area between China, Pakistan and India in southeastern Kashmir. Diplomatic efforts led the troop’s frictions there to a well-arranged end. But this time it is a totally different case,” it added.

It is rare for China to call Ladakh a “disputed” region and make a reference to Kashmir.

This is the first time that China has clearly articulated – through one of its primary official channels - that there is no room for parleys to resolve the weeks-long impasse in Donglang, which is under China’s control but claimed by Bhutan.

We will stand our ground! Period! No amount of Chinese bluster can change our stand.

Thanks to the army and leadership to permanently annex Turtok and Siachen otherwise Ladakh was open for a pincer movement from both side which would've been a real 2 front war scenario.

If the other 4 of G5 nations disqualify china from G5 and make it a ordinary member that will be a enormous relief to the world and also to the other G4 nations. This move will tame china a lot.

Their economy will tremble just by hearing this proposal. The amount of money Chinese have invested across the world , it is quite impossible for any country to not to take them seriously.

It's intriguing why the Pakis haven't opened their mouths on the Dokhlam stand-off. I thought they would have blamed India and asked it to withdraw troops as per the diktats of their masters, China.
They cannot because this will make their effort to mischievously enter Bhutan for their rogue purposes null and void.

Why so serious?

I agree, but as a respect to the country, soldiers and his office he can turn up well dressed, at least for the parades. One can be well dressed yet simple at the same time. Yet this is not a reason to abuse him.

Investments are lost in foreign countries routinely. Germans may wind up losing all their investments in Russia after sanctions. Why would this be an obstacle?

4 Pakistani Troops killed as Indian firing led to there car fell in River

http://defenceforumindia.com/forum/...-firing-led-to-there-car-fell-in-river.79542/
Drowned? o_O  Lol! Aren't these Pork soldiers taught to swim? I thought swimming comes naturally to pigs.

They must have lost at least a dozen dorks of the Islamic Army of Porkistan in this incident! You need to multiply what these liars and propagandists of the ISPR say about their casualties by a figure of 3 at least.

China needs India, US, EU far more than they need it. The only economy dependent on China is Russia's. India has zero essential need for Chinese goods. They don't supply us food or weapons.

how much is India needed compared to the way China is being needed?

between cutting off trade with China and cutting off trade with India, which one hurts EU and US more? which one do they prefer if they have to make a choice?
