If its true that the trouble started because we had objected to a road construction then its a good thing for us especially in those border area s were we have very poor infrastructure to counter ..Just a small look below what simple roads can do for China ...Lots of metal getting moved into Tibet region by using these simple roads

Mostly Tibetan plateau is flat like desert,so you have less vegetation and easy transportation.
On our side you have high mountains with single road which can be choked.

As per media reports Indian troops stopped construction of road . If that is true it means we are taking necessary steps to stop Chinese advances. If they have destroyed few makeshift bunkers , then build more defensive measures and while disrupting their construction efforts . Having said that, I am sure we don't have much more to give on our north eastern borders.
South Sea is the place where we can really touch Chinese nerve. Being aggressive on that front will really pay us good dividends .
China is a mess which we can't handle on our own. That is why we should make this everyone's mess i.e. Collective responsibility. South Sea is a place where everyone agrees to tackle .
Instead taking fight at our own chicken neck let us take fight at China's . Nobody is saying that we should not do anything. Question here is when and where to retaliate.

I think thats bullshit. In war population is cannon fodder. Moreover Chinese were trying to build a road bang on no man's land whereas they do not even allow us to construct temporary structures there. I think this is a deliberate and strategically timed move to send a signal to Trump to lay off APAC region in line with so called G2 principle China has been espousing. There is no better time to send the signal than when Modi is there. Coupled with Paki failed raid on LOC, it is clear to me that these 2 evil countries are coordinating their actions. We need immediate and sustained buildup in conventional and nuclear arms, no ifs or butts. As for US, they will never put their neck on line but arms purchase from US should be accelerated with suitable offset provisions.

I think this is really fishy. How can India withdraw border guards when there are no permanent structures along borders for soldiers to occupy in the first place. At best soldiers would have objected to road construction along zero line which is very fair as China has stopped us from doing so many times in past. Coupled with noise about Pakistan and CPEC, why is China behaving like this when PM is meeting Trump and hopefully will get bag of goodies which we need.
