NO.Initial demand was 114 MMRCA.1 after buying 36 Rafales still demand is 114 MMRCA.2
I don't think.Lca mk1a is just 5.2 billion usd for 83 == 62.6 million per jet ( including infra spare weaponry).
Engine is from outside so no worry.
Absolutely...samajh gaye.Recently MWF name was dropped for Tejas MK2. " Kuch samjhe daya"??
Indigenous Radome will be used on Tejas mk2 ...Engine is from outside so no worry.
Uttam AESA is coming online in a year or two.
Astra Taxi trial is completed and Will be tested on LCA platform soon.
Composite supplies are ready any time.
Cobham will be supplying the Radome.
Mk1 standard weapons are included in the 5.2dollars deal....I don't think.
Rafale is offered with a 70% disponibility for 5 years. Nothing like that for Tejas.
There is no special deal for Tejas Weaponry, so in your 5.2 billion there is nothing like that.
This way of thinking is what is forever holding the Indian back. "It is this, but not that". Modular and incremental change happens over time. You have to crawl before you can walk. Walk before you can run. Run before you can swim. India wants to go from the womb to swimming with no intermediary steps. I just posted somewhere else, many Western engineering firms have extremely talented Indian-born engineers. How these people aren't bolstering Indian defense is mind boggingly crazy. Why projects get stuck in India makes no sense.Marut had nothing to do with Mig 21 Both had different roles.
Due to want of engine it never reached its potential as a fighter bomber later we bought Jaguar and then multirole Mirage 2000.
Absolutely...samajh gaye.
Whatever the crazy stuff you had to say .. point is Marut And Mig 21 had nothing to do with each other. PeriodThis way of thinking is what is forever holding the Indian back.
