Yup.. bad bad mentality. Always asking for money. It's not like IAF owes lot of money to HAL which is pending.. like say some thousands of crores which is talking money away from operational needs. Ohh wait!! Did i blurt out the truth? Oops!! :scared2: :scared2:

HAL should simply take a leaf out of IAF's playbook and not pay any of the private contractors for a while and deliver the planes to the IAF immediately. Why does anyone need a signed deal to do things anyways?:daru:
HAL have been asking for the 83 order for close to 2 years now. They would have started delivery at most by mid 2022. Still waiting for that order.

Shh.. Don't say that loud. You will be given 100 pages of reasons why it is not signed yet and why it should not be signed so fast by our very own 'aatmanirbhar' folks. For signing Rafale and fast tracking Mig29 & Su-30MKI, these conditions don't apply.

Bootlickers galore in this topic. Very sad to see. Please tell me which public industry besides ISRO has successfully produced anything? GTRE? Failed (Kaveri). HAL? Failed (Tejas, 40 years. LCH (20 years)). Countless more.

Even ISRO took many decadess to produce a Cryogenic rocket engine , failures and success are part of life .
These are some really expensive and critical technologies so development takes times .....India is behind Western countries in almost every area .....Why this sudden breakdown ? 😆

Still sir PSUs are running behind targets. They act more as a job provider platform rather than Indias self reliance establishment.

What BEML was suppose to produce.

Farming Equipments like Tractors, Harvesters, Shredders.
How many farming equipment made from BEML do u see in your daily life.
Earth Movers like Road rollers, Excavation machine, Large Drillers, Cranes.
Do u see any earth movers from BEML in the market? JCB, Hyundai, Hanwha, and Tata are rulings the market.
Most of there is an immediate need of TBM which cost 20 to 30 million when imported.

Yeah yeah, India should only buy imported weaponry, not dare to produce its own.British colonial mentality. Of course, India's going to take longer to produce those things, it doesn't have the experience or infrastructure the western countries and Russia have. There have also been successes in radar, sonar. EW, artillery, pilotless target aircraft( Lakshya) and several others. It's not all 'failure' and delay.

BTW Indian private companies are not doing great either .....who is stopping indian private companies to make big tunnel boring machines ? And other such heavy machinery? Jet engines and aircrafts ?🤔

these are the top selling cars in India 2020 >>

HAL is not responsible for delays in Tejas program , Tejas is designed and developed by ADA and most of the parts of Tejas are manufacturered by private companies or imported from foreign countries ( parts like engine , Radars etc ) .
There are hundreds of private companies iinvolved which are making small and big parts of Tejas .
And then HAL does just the final integration .
