Buddy, Mirage was the most sought after platform in the IAF for Nuclear delivery but now with integration of Brahmos, Su 30 MKI is the boss.

First this is LCA thread not m2k or mki second both aircraft intnted for specific roles only reason m2k chooses above mki it small operation profile and elements of surprise nature , mki more of brute aircraft it capable of long duration mission in a single leg, IAF keeping it diversified aircraft zoo becoz in war scenario enemy find vulnerability in one of ur aircraft models suddenly majority of ur fighter fleet sitting duck's, so stop fighting abt to type of fighters bring the topic back to subject ( LCA)

Increase the order from 80 aircrafts to more than 150.
With mig-27s gone mig-21s retiring we need something cheap and IMMEDIATELY.

Mig 27 are a ground attack aircraft whereas Mig 21 are interceptors. not sure if Tejas Mk1A would qualify for that role.

this is LCA Tejas Mk 1 FoC. I dont think they will ever be deployed to a FOB.

honestly with induction of Apaches, no need for Mig 27 type aircraft.
