Are you serious?

There are 3 Rafale : all twin engined, one single seater for navy (M variant), one single seater for air force (C) and a dual seater for air force (B).
Wet thrust is 2 x 7.5Tons in all cases.
Thanks. Just wanted an official kind of confirmation.

Regarding discussion on significance of altitude in evading radar:

In real life an aircraft on ingress is likely to be tracked by multiple radars. But to illustrate my point, I just need you to visualize one radar. Imagine a V shape -- the vertex of the V shape represents the radar antenna. The area covered by the V shape represents the coverage of the radar. Now, look at the V shape carefully, enlarge it if needed, and imagine that an aircraft is approaching the V shape. So, it is quite obvious that the lower the aircraft is, closer it can come to the radar source without hitting the radar's coverage area. This is why raiding aircraft fly at lower altitudes.

Also there is lot more clutter at low altitude . Tall trees , buildings , mountain , hills all add to clutter making it difficult for radar to separate aircraft from surrounding.

The terrains such as mountains essentially block the radar waves creating blind spots. Just like if something stood between you and an object, it would block your vision.

Here you go...
Complete details of the Polish F35 Deal

https://theaviationist.com/2020/01/31/poland-signs-4-6b-usd-deal-for-the-purchase-of-32-f-35s/

Some excerpts -

Poland is acquiring the F-35 in the Block 4 variant, and the agreement also includes a modernization package that would involve subsequent upgrades introduced by Lockheed Martin.

Extras that come with the Polish aircraft include
- Ground support equipment,
- integrated training centre,
- 8 Full Mission Simulators,
- Logistics support within the GSS system (until 2030),
- Training of 24 pilots (up to the instructur level),along with 90 members of the ground crew.

Pricetag of the Polish F-35 deal is defined as 4.6B US dollars with
unit price of 87.3M dollars (net), engine included
– according to the Armament Inspectorate of the Polish MoD.
Rafale cost breakdown is quite vague and doesnt provide much details. You'll be hard pressed to find it, and even when you do a lot of things won't make sense.

I mean, its certainly cheaper..
$4.6B for 32
vs.
$8.8B for 36

But since we don't know what the rafale deal exactly specifies, so we can't make an accurate guess.
Imho, a fraction of cost of rafale deal goes to the fact that it was bought as ' emergency requirement' , making the manufacturer ask for higher price to deliver the jets before normal delivery schedule disrupting their own procurement cycle.

There's a big difference in these deals. The Rafale deal has industrial offsets while the Polish deal is purely a fighter purchase.

Polish deal only includes training and logistics package. There is no mention about weapons, Poland specific F-35 changes, infrastructure setup, etc.

Poland specific changes?!?
It already has everything that India gets as an 'enhancement' for Rafale and then some more..

Weapons?
Poland already operates 48 F16 and the weapons employed are identical to those of F35.

Infrastructure setup?

The best thing PAF has is F-16 Block 50, the best thing China has is Su-35. It is a fair statement. It is a generation or even 1.5 generations above the rest of their fleets.
