In a french forum I gave some datas about the HAL bill to build a Rafale in India. It was 2,7 more expensive than the french price !
A Rafale built in France, without air base accomodation, no spares, no tools and test bench, no weapon cost around 100€ million with VAT. ie 80 million for export.

HAL is out of the game. Even MKI are probably assembled/built for twice the right price.
Then we want offsets. But will Dassault honor the offset cost?

More and more weapons are to be integrated on Rafale. Astra on the way. We hurd some noise about an indian anti radar missile. A glide bomb to follow. Brahmos mini ?
West weapon package will be slawly replace.
We were talking as if instead of just 36 we ordered 200 or some.
As for the weapons you mentioned these are weapons that are to be inducted.
Except Astra and Rudram has been ordered brahmos ng is set for 2024.
So yeah even if we ordered quite a large amount back in the days it would still be a large amount of money for weapons package.

Nah.. that MKI costing twice news article is bogus .

HAL is currently producing the Su-30MKI at an estimated cost of around $62 million per aircraft, which is around $22 million higher than the Su-30 jets supplied by Russia. The Russian version of the jet costs around $40 million.

40 and 62 isn't "almost double🤡"

Also in same article.

The Indian version of the Sukhoi has advanced Israeli avionics and electronic warfare systems, making them different from the standard Su-30s or the Chinese versions. Additionally, the S3-30 MKI has a variety of missiles including the Russian origin R73/77 and the Indian made Astra and Brahmos.

Q: What is the majority cost factor in so called “India specific changes” in Rafale?
A: Making NATO standard Litening pod, JDAM/Spice family, HMD, NATO standard jammers etc. integrate with Rafale.

PS: all other NATO jets except EF to some extent have been validated to use all of the above and would not cost the customer.

This can help you.

or Are you salty that US middlemen or companies didn't receive the "bribe" ?

I am not salty at all. I say US should not sell any weapons to India.

Which US defense company bribed Indians? You are so desperate that you are bringing MAX issue in Indian defense forum!! Pathetic..

Which European defense company hasn’t bribed Indians?

Why ?? What's wrong in me quoting about Max issue ??
Who is boeing ?? Who makes F-18 ?

If they can hide about such misconducts, who knows what kind of cesspool that American MIC might be.

We are talking about Dassault so let's stick to that. Did Dassault also pay bribe to Greece, Egypt , Indonesia , Qatar ??

Nato standards??
What is that, plating it with gold that comes from US treasury ?

Litening pod and HMD are Israeli . Idk about jammers.
why should India ordering it will "increase the price", these are already used by native origin countries.

According to your stupid logic any country ordering anything from a Nato country is paying "extra for nato standards". Is there some kind of Royalty system that US implemented ??🤣

These are the 14 India specific enhancements.

Other than SPICE/JDAM.

I didn't find anything that has connection with "NATO" .

Nah, there are no arguments at this point. Arguments are necessary when there’s basic knowledge. Stick with what you know. It’s all fantastic.
Dont preech. You still didn't explain me what is "NATO" standard in Rafale deal . Follow your own words and open your mouth only when you can defend the words.
