Lebanon doesn't want to fuck with Israel for sure.
It's been rocked with protests, disasters and economic downturns and overall dissent the last few years. A single strategic target getting bombed will literally destroy the country. Israel goes after financial institutions first if it finds it juicy enough, and the Lebanese ministry of finance is juicier than Amy Anderssen's honkers.

Now, I'm not naive or stupid enough to believe Israel will do it, because that would mean Hezbollah getting empowered further, but Lebanon wants to avoid the slightest of risks here. A single airstrike could mean complete anhilliation of the legitimate government.
