Don't know the technical differences between black and orange furniture, the difference should be in the machining and mechanics of the gun, not in the furniture, I just like the black for looks.1. Black Insas with some Minor and Major Modification is replacing all older Insas in all Units..

Kunal,
Could you please post a high resolution picture of the INSAS LMG with black furniture, if it exists?
Thanks!
Is that the Sterling?Btw, Some updates i came to know..
1. Black Insas with some Minor and Major Modification is replacing all older Insas in all Units..

Really? As Title III weapons?Mr. Ewald,
Please be on the lookout. The Indian FN-FAL clones and Sterlings that are being phased out might soon be surplussed and will probably end up in the US, just like the 7.62mm RFI SMLEs. You should get your hands on one of these early.
If you are really interested in collecting an Indian SLR, i.e. FN-FAL clone, i.e. RFI L1A1, check this out:Really? As Title III weapons?
I remember the SMLEs appearing at gun shows some time back.
I don't know abt the earlier Black Insas, But these New Black Insas Rifle Issuing to Units are lighter than previous ones, from personal view i find its lighter, less half kg than previous ones with empty Mag..kunal sir, in Black INSAS rifle have they reduce the weight of weapon ??
Sir, do you also know which SMG is going to replace the sterlings ?Btw, Some updates i came to know..
