I agree but partially, I dont like Osprey but Vikramaditya AWACS ( Based on KH-31 ) is not a powerful AWACS, Not IN ships have very long range radars ( Less than 400kms ) Here a carrier fleet can have something compact and effective AWACS..

I don't like it because it has poor endurance (half of E-2C), short range and limited coverage. The radar has to be mounted low and deal with interference of power spikes and constant wash from the engines. It is very difficult to stow.
