Yeah…that’s what I meant. All these Middle East and Ukraine war is shutting us off from cheap routes to Europe while the Chinese enjoy cheap overland train freight.Problem there is geography. For overland route, you'd need to go either through Pakistan or through China... do you really want that?
Meaning sea is still the only option. And that means Suez, or else rounding the entire Africa.

This is not all. They copied random images from Google and pasted it in their "concept" poster. That includes an interior image of an articulated bus:
yes, haldi has given the clarification. How are journalists responsible for this? These pictures are taken from ICF stall itself. It's the babudogs who've copy pasted from Google and CRRC brochure.
Which one are we getting?Ya'll Nibbiars
Ya'll Nibbiars The H5, the right one with a capacity of just 731 versus the Newer, Faster and better that we should ask for the N700S with 1373 Paseenger capacity which the Texas Central Railways is geting.Which one are we getting?
Does the N700S cost more? I think we are getting the H5 as a cheaper option and see how the public likes the new train. If the public likes the bullet train and the price, we can go for the N700S.Ya'll Nibbiars The H5, the right one with a capacity of just 731 versus the Newer, Faster and better that we should ask for the N700S with 1373 Paseenger capacity which the Texas Central Railways is geting.
Ya'll Nibbiars No both cost the same in terms of car wise. But the N 700s costs less in operational expenses, more revenue, less marinades, less operating cost and better rate of returns per pasenger carried.Does the N700S cost more? Which one are we getting?
Ya'll Nibbiars we are getting the E5 Becasue the company which done the details reports back in the 2015 was the Eastern JR which operates and developed the E5, while the Central JR operates and developed the N700S.Does the N700S cost more? E5 is still the more superior train for us.Ya'll Nibbiars
Ya'll Nibbiars Corrections,E5 is still the more superior train for us.
N700s is designed for Tokaido line with lower speed (280 km/hr), poor track quality and densely spaced stations. That means acceleration is more important than top speed.
Meanwhile, E5 is designed to run at a higher top speed (because Tohuku line is newer and supports higher speed).
MAHSR is comparable to Chinese lines (in terms of station density). We need more top speed than acceleration. That's why E5 was chosen.
Interiors are anyways customisable. For ATC, we're using DS-ATC, which is good. The ideal solution would've been to use ETCS (as it's much more open source).
