Problem there is geography. For overland route, you'd need to go either through Pakistan or through China... do you really want that?

Meaning sea is still the only option. And that means Suez, or else rounding the entire Africa.
Yeah…that’s what I meant. All these Middle East and Ukraine war is shutting us off from cheap routes to Europe while the Chinese enjoy cheap overland train freight.
The whole point to avoid Suez is the congestion there.
‘Chahbaahar might still work out. Let’s see.

Ya'll Nibbiars that's indeed from the ICF booklets and PR materials.

How are journalists responsible for this? These pictures are taken from ICF stall itself. It's the babudogs who've copy pasted from Google and CRRC brochure.
This is not all. They copied random images from Google and pasted it in their "concept" poster. That includes an interior image of an articulated bus:

Which one are we getting?
Ya'll Nibbiars The H5, the right one with a capacity of just 731 versus the Newer, Faster and better that we should ask for the N700S with 1373 Paseenger capacity which the Texas Central Railways is geting.

Does the N700S cost more? I think we are getting the H5 as a cheaper option and see how the public likes the new train. If the public likes the bullet train and the price, we can go for the N700S.

Ya'll Nibbiars No both cost the same in terms of car wise. But the N 700s costs less in operational expenses, more revenue, less marinades, less operating cost and better rate of returns per pasenger carried.

Ya'll Nibbiars we are getting the E5 Becasue the company which done the details reports back in the 2015 was the Eastern JR which operates and developed the E5, while the Central JR operates and developed the N700S.

Ya'll Nibbiars

E5 is still the more superior train for us.

N700s is designed for Tokaido line with lower speed (280 km/hr), poor track quality and densely spaced stations. That means acceleration is more important than top speed.

Meanwhile, E5 is designed to run at a higher top speed (because Tohuku line is newer and supports higher speed).

MAHSR is comparable to Chinese lines (in terms of station density). We need more top speed than acceleration. That's why E5 was chosen.

Interiors are anyways customisable. For ATC, we're using DS-ATC, which is good. The ideal solution would've been to use ETCS (as it's much more open source).

Ya'll Nibbiars Corrections,

The N700S has a designed speed of 360 K.M. per hour.

The TCR is going to have a service speed of 330 K.M per hour.

N700S now has better acceleration and both speed now than the previous iterations.

Plus the TCR has been offered a better hot climate packages.

The Cost to Passenger ratio of the N700S is better.

The Operations, matinance, acquisition and viability cost pers seat ratio is also much better.

The number of trains set ordered for the MAHSR are low so the N700S made a better choice here.

The potential market is much larger than many members think here.

The number of station are not revelation compared to the market size. Anyway HSR has much lesser station than the regular lines.

The 700 Series have been exported while the H5 not, if some one wants to the point about the history of years of service. The N700S uses the same frame but all the technology is new. So best of the both worlds.
