Akash on BMP-2
Are you suggesting that T72's tracks should also changed to hardened tires?? Like in Panitser systemWe should use those T72 tanks to modify them to use Akash missile and even make them as Unmanned vehicle f or mines clearing, may be even placing CLGM missiles on it, in multi firing mode.
Didn't get you, T-72 tracks are fine..Are you suggesting that T72's tracks should also changed to hardened tires?? Like in Panitser system
No to use hardened tires so it increase the maneuverability of the system unlike the tracked unit...............! How do yo think this system should work with advancing armies or with general air defense??Didn't get you, T-72 tracks are fine..
Panitser is using other chassis..
Actually you are saying quite opposite..No to use hardened tires so it increase the maneuverability of the system unlike the tracked unit...............!
In a desert or a semi desert environment tracked systems becomes easy targets to the modern anti air defense systems though. How to counter that?Actually you are saying quite opposite..
Wheeled are good at where the infrastructure is good..
But over kilometers of Desert and Semi Deserts, Tracked are faster than wheeled, Wheeled of any types cannot keep up with fast moving Armored force through Deserts and Semi desert or even harsh plains without any infrastructure..

My opinion is to go for a two separate systems one with tracks and other with harden tires. When mobility increases it increase the ability to shoot and scoot!
Externally it looks like and propulsion is, But guidance is very different for SA-6..why this SA6 look same as AKASH ? is our AKASH a copy of ussr SAM.
They are inlet ducts to get the airflow to power the engine........BETTER THAN NOTHING,
Sir can u tell me what is this 3 small rocket like things surrounding AKASH and SA 6.
French APCs didn't have any problem getting through the deserts of Iraq. They were faster than the tracked vehicles. As long as there is solid surface to grab onto, wheeled will always be faster. Tracks are better for mud and loose ground. It is really a matter of weight, wheels can only go to a certian limit while tracks can handle far moreBut over kilometers of Desert and Semi Deserts, Tracked are faster than wheeled, Wheeled of any types cannot keep up with fast moving Armored force through Deserts and Semi desert or even harsh plains without any infrastructure..
