I am not sure whether they have offered it to us or not, Most Probably they have not or else we would have bought 9K333 Verba MANPADS instead of Igla S, maybe they have but we choose Igla S over it still, I am not sure about it though.

Russia and Israel have a silent agreement that they won't use them unless Russian interests are targeted. You forgot the critical meeting between Putin and Netanyahu just before the latter left the PM position. Israel lobbied something to Putin and convinced him not to use the S-400s against the Israelis.

There is more to this situation than meets the eye. Putin wants to retain Syrian regime so that his base in Tartus is safe. He does not care what Israel does to some random terror factions on Syrian soil even if they are pro-Assad.

This is purely political and not technical. Come on, use your head - Russian air defense is targeted against NATO jets; do you really think they would make anything less capable than expected? Russian air defense has been among the best in the world since Soviet days due to their doctrine of air warfare.

Either the S400 doesn't work as advertised in its glossy brochure or the Russians are shitty allies. If it's the latter there is only that much slack you can cut the Russians, they are already selling arms to both our adversarial neighbours, in spite of us practically underwriting their defence industry during their darkest hour. Something to keep in mind especially since in current geopolitical situation China is far more important to Russia than India.

Pakistan spends 16% of budget on army, If we spent that much we would outspend china, and be just as s#!t economy as pak.

Let it come out of covers . And what matters is it's seeker and ground based radar ,if it can see a vlo jet at a good range then we will have a missile suiting our doctrine

So what? S-400 is a really good and effective air defense system I will agree with that part but that doesn't mean you will just keep being dependent on import. You need Indigenous Air defense systems too, because it's better overall better. S-400 is a very expensive system and we have to be dependent on Russia for Basically everything ranging from Missiles, spares etc so to be on the safer side better to have Indigenous Air defense systems with you for example like XR-SAM. Also I hope you know that our Upcoming XR-SAM will be Indigenous S-400(Not sure if it will be as effective as the S-400) like that we are developing many other Air defence Systems as well.

XR SAM is a missle, the S400 is a whole system and a very good one at that. It's designed to resist the SEAD/DEAD push to be expected from NATO and it's network centricity, radars and missles are up to the mark. It's a question of training, network and sensor integration and proper operational use. The system is well thought out.

No PAF didn't jam any Indian AD systems.

Pak has finally been able to afford dogfighting analogue systems but is quite primitive in net-centric warfare, air defence and radars yet.
