I always thought NSG would be the first SF to get COMTACS. Anyways on a side note after the formation of AFSOD there has been a slight increase in the pace of modernization (IMO)

Meh, I don’t think so, they should first get binocular nods for most of their dudes along with comtacs. Garuds already have Panoramic NVGs but don’t know which one.

Quad tubes are heavy and have piss poor Ingress Protection rating. MARCOs are mandated to operate in maritime areas.
If they'd buy quad tube nods it'll most probably be for their cqb,HRT and other high speed operations
