Nice to see these new plate carriers more frequently. Would like to know if they are being issued or bought individually.
Whoever has bought new Tavors and UZIs or has used their regular favourite unit funds.Which para uses mepro mor sight
These are 10 Para SF, they’ve been seen many times with this Olive Planet plate carrier, due to the their relatively higher number among 10, it’s more likely they’ve been bought in small numbers or using unit funds.Nice to see these new plate carriers more frequently. I don't get it; why the hell does everyone wear their own thing in our forces? It looks like a multi-national CT exercise gone wrong.
Our special forces were in the golden days in the 80s.
As much as we reminisce the 90s as the era of our teenage/childhood years, it was the time when Indian economy was in the dumps, the PMs were changing every 5 minutes, coalition governments forming and toppling, and the likes of Mulayam Singh Yadav were defence ministers... That lost decade took a heavy toll on our forces, both infantry and special. Our special forces were in the golden days in the 80s.

India got some semblance of growth after the Kargil War. Unfortunately, our forces took a huge hit in modernization during the UPA regimes from 2004-2014. That was the second lost decade.
It was royal ordinance factories though as far as I knowAfter 80 British ofb was privatised while ours wasn't so the plates ,vests , arms and ammunition quality significantly improved and govt did buy stuff from those private players .
